Chapter 3: Jones

Lya was quick in getting away from her father. She didn't want to explain everything that had happened over the past century to him and she definitely didn't need him finding out about the darkness that came with her being a Mikaelson. No, instead she was going to get out of Camelot before he or anyone else could even talk to her about anything.

"Lya" one of the girls in the same age group as the teenage Mikaelson, Violet, cut her off. "Where are you running off too?"

"I was hoping to sneak out without question" Lya told her "My time in Camelot has come to an end and I must be on my way if I hope to find any way to save my family from the darkness that is the Hollow."

"You know the savior and her friends could help you" Violet stated "After all they came for Merlin and you had been hoping he could help."

"Staying isn't the best idea" Lya told her glancing back at her father. He was trying to act normal as looked for her whereabouts but in fact could see her. "Now if you'll excuse I've a journey to prepare for."

He saw it in the girl's eyes the second she told Emma about her being born in Enchanted Forest but leaving when she was six. The girl avoided looking at him as if to keep him from realizing it was her. What kind of father would he be if he couldn't even recognize his own daughter? It didn't matter that it had been over a century since she was taken from him.

As soon as Lya got the chance though, she fled from the ball. Killian was quickly to follow after her when he got the chance to get away from Emma and Henry. It wasn't that he didn't want them knowing the truth but he had the feeling that Lya wouldn't be willing to talk to him, if they were there.

By the time he found his daughter, she had changed into street clothes from the Land Without Magic. From the bag over her shoulder, he could tell she was planning on leaving Camelot.

"Lyanna" Killian said stopping the teenager in her tracks. The girl looked back at him and for the first time since the day she was taken from him, he saw the little girl that had been his child.

"Dad" the girl said dropping her bag to the ground before she ran back to hug him. "I thought I'd never see you again"

"So did I" Hook told her, pulling away so she could look her over. "How are you even here? It's been over a century."

"Dahlia put me under a hundred year sleep curse" Lya explained "When I woke up she was planning to do the same thing to my baby cousin, Hope. So my Aunt Freya and I helped the rest of mom's siblings stop her."

"Why are you in Camelot though" He asked her.

"A few weeks ago, Hope got possessed by a dark spirit called the Hollow." Lya told him "In order to save her, my Uncles Nik, Elijah, and Kol along with my Aunt Rebekah split the spirit between but now then can't be around Hope, so I'm searching for a way to destroy the Hollow." 

"Just like her mother" Killian mumbled remembering how the girls mother got herself killed fighting to save her family.
