Liam's pov

It's a new year and I'm feeling good. I was walking into school when I was stopped by a small hand on my shoulder. "Hey babe." Oh shit it's Hayden. I've been dreading it, seeing her. She turned me around and kissed me. I was trying my best to kiss her back but he caught my eye like always, Theo. If I had told him how I felt about him when I brought him back for the first time then I would be great.
Unfortunately, for now I'm stuck as a "straight" boy. I wish I told him how I felt. I think that's my biggest regret. "Helloooo" I turned my head back around to see Hayden looking at Theo angrily and me looking at her. I grabbed her and kissed her trying to like it the best I could
"Hey I have to go." I said trying to get away from her as fast as possible. She smiled and let go of me and as soon as she did I walked over to Theo.

"Hey Theo." I said smiling at him,
He smiled at me "What's up?" He asked looking away from his locker. "I just wanted to see how you've been. Since you know, we've pulled you back from well hell." I said looking up at him, "Uh well, I've been sleeping in my car. I don't have anywhere to go." He said looking at me like it was nothing but it was something,
"Uh you can stay at mine my parents are gone for a few months." I said waiting for him to answer and he just nodded, "I don't want to bother you." He said looking unsure of himself. God just stay at my place, please.

Theo's pov

What I really mean is I don't want to hurt him. I really don't but half of me really wants his power. Maybe it's because of the way I used to be with the dread doctors, shit I want to kill things but I'm not strong enough. "You won't bother me I promise." He said smiling at me. Damn that smile, I love it because his eyes sparkle so much when he smiles, they never lose that spark. Maybe, just maybe I won't hurt him, "Okay that sounds nice, maybe I could give you a ride after school." I said smiling a little, he nodded
"I think you'd better go since your girlfriend is giving me the death glare." I whispered in his ear chuckling a little
He nodded stiffly and walked off.

Time skip to lunch

I walked over to the pack and saw that most of them were taking a picture together for the new year. I was looking around for a specific blue eyed beta when I see him. Making out with that ugly bitch Hayden, he looks uncomfortable. He finally spots me and moves away from her wiping his mouth in disgust on his way over to me. "Hey Li." I said smiling at him the whole pack turned around looking at me very confused so I loose the smile and put on a smirk. "Hey." Liam says giving me a small smile with amusement in his eyes. "What the hell is he doing here Liam?" Almost the whole pack asked Scott and Corey didn't ask. Did he know something?

"Well he's staying at my place now and I thought maybe he could I don't know, eat lunch with us." Liam was nervous but still gave them that beautiful smile. Most of them nodded of gave a small 'fine'
Hayden smelt furious, "Liam can I stay the night at your-." She was quickly cut off by Liam, "No." He said sternly looking at her, she rolled her eyes at him and sat down at the table. I sat down across from Liam. Hayden was right next to him trying to get him to kiss her he just seemed bored. "Hey do you think we could um stop by the store before we go to your place?" I asked looking up at him,
"Yeah you could go to literally anywhere before we go to mine and I wouldn't care." He said smiling brightly which caused me to smile a little.

"Wait hes driving you home? How come whenever I ask to go somewhere before your house you complain?" Hayden looked at me with an angry look as she continued to bitch to Liam. He just ignored her, "Theo can I talk to you for a moment over uh there?" Corey asked pointing to the bench Liam and Hayden were on like 10 minutes ago, "Yeah buddy?" I asked then my eyes went wide when I called him buddy, "Did you just? Never mind we can talk about it later Uhm are you good now or?" He said looking at me with curious eyes. "Well I still have big wants but I don't want them to take over. I'm trying my best though, also I don't exactly know why but I have this urge to protect you. Not in a I love you so much that I'd fuck You but I feel like you're kinda my son." I said looking down at my hands.

"Technically you could be my father since I didn't really have a family before the dread doctors and you kinda just took me in. Obviously, you weren't the best influence but you're working on it and I feel like we have a bond in a way if that makes sense." He said looking up at me with those innocent eyes I smiled at him,
"Yeah we kinda do have a bond and I don't hate it so we can start as friends."
He nodded and got up, we gave each other a hug and I heard a growl but at the moment I don't care because for once it feels like someone cares.
