"- and a hydrogen bond is a partially electrostatic attraction between a hydrogen atom which is bound to a more electronegative atoms such as nitrogen , oxygen, or fluorine, and another adjacent atom bearing a lone pair of electrons." Professor Stone said while I drifted away in boredom , resting my cheek against my fist that stopped me from completely dazing off.
He enthusiasticly scribbled away on the board as white chalk dust drifted into the air. My head slowly turned to my left seeing Stacy eagerly scratching away notes, actually listening to Professor Stone.
A soft voice whispered behind me , barely hearable. My hand slowly pulled away from my face as my head turned back seeking the person talking. Everybody seemd quiet, those who weren't listening were busy sleeping.
Starring back at the board that same person called my name again. I tunred seeing no one once again.
I should really start sleeping at night...
As I tunred back into my seat, my body froze in shock as my lips started to quiver while my eyes grew enormous in fear.
A faceless dark boney body, dripping a thick black liquid, stood between the rows of desk as its body swayed in a jittery motion.
My head whipped side to side, hoping someone sees it as well. My gaze glued to the creature as it slowly walked past the oblivious classmates. My hands tremble while I tried holding a straight face even though the warm tears wanted to brake free.
"αυτός είναι ερχομός ( Aftós eínai erchomós)..." It calmly whispered moving closer towords me.
Aftós eínai ... Why do I keep hearing that?
I squeezed my eyes shut while keeping my head in place, trying not to draw attention.
It's not real. It's not real. It can't hurt me...
My eyes flashed open remembering the burned marks on my ankle, seeing it have moved much closer while leaving black liquid behind with each step it took.
"αυτός είναι ερχομός ( Aftós eínai erchomós) !" It said much fiercer ripping the ends of its mouth even wider.
"It's not real. It's not real." I softly whispered closing my eyes once again.
I calmed my erratic breathing, listening. Professor Stone's voice carried on about covalent bonds. Stacy's pen furiously edged ink into the paper. Someone at the far end of my left continuously clicked their pen while another student creeked their chair back and forth.
I cautiously peered open my eyes hoping it disappeared like always. I turned my head towards Stacy seeing her still keenly focusing on science before I looked back towards Professor Stone. With a uneasy feeling lingering I slightly turned to my right, making sure it is truly completely gone.
An acidy burn spread over my right shoulder as my eyes caught the monstrous creatures grabbing onto me.
Jumping out of my chair I slipped out of its grasp as my chair fell to the ground causing a loud thump. My erratic breathing burned my chest while my eyes shot around the classroom seeing confused faces.
"Miss Spark. Is there a problem?" Professor Stone asked looking between me and Stacy for an answer.
I rapidly blinked realising what happened. My head whipped between the students , professor Stone and Stacy.
