"Ava!" My dad calls from the basement. I quickly walk down to where he is, standing in front of the weapon table and wall. "Yeah?" I say and look at him. "You're coming with me." What? "Where are we going?" I question him. I fold my arms expecting an answer. "Training camp." What the hell? I told him I wasn't going. "I'm not going, dad." I storm off up stairs. He is following me, I can hear him. "Ava!" He calls. I run upstairs quickly to my room and slam the door. I yell, "I'M NOT GOING AND YOU CAN'T MAKE ME." My dad is at my door now. I locked it, he can't get in. "Ava," he says softly, "Open up honey." I can't believe him. "No. I already told you, I'm not going." He try's again. "Dad, leave me alone." I sigh and lay back on my bed. "Fine, just think about, will you?" I can hear him head back downstairs.
Ok, before anything, I have to explain this. I'm a werewolf hunter. My whole family hunts them. It's for the better, or so my dad says. It hasn't been the same since my brother, Jacob, was killed during a hunt. We haven't seen any werewolves since the incident, which was two years ago. I have a feeling that it will change, with a quickness.
