I woke up from my sleep, opening my eyes slowly to the mess of sheets beside me. I inhaled the sweet scent that surrounded me.
Light footsteps filled my ear and I opened my eyes wider to see Miley sneaking out of the bathroom and back to the bed. Her eyes catches mine and she smiled, she was still naked but somehow didn't mind me gazing upon her.
She finally rolled beside me causing the mattress to shake as she continued to pull on the sheets to cover herself. I sighed and rolled closer to her causing our skin to touch. She looked at me sincerely and threw her arms around me.
"Hi," She whispered sweetly, her eyes fluttering close to mine. "Shush..." I hissed suggestively before rolling myself on top on her and pinning her against the pillows as I began kissing her. She giggled and pushed my chest away lightly. "Nick," She warned sweetly, rolling herself away.
"What?" I whined sarcastically and pressed my lips against her neck not wanting to stop. She pulled away again and looked at me seriously, her lips are slightly pouted before she rubbed her nose against mine. "We need to talk," She said, patting my chest.
I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Right now? Great timing, Miley." I said sarcastically before rolling back to the other side of the bed in defeat. She lift herself and placed her elbows to support her with her face cupped in her hands.
"We don't have much time," She said calmly and I eyed her curiously. "What does that mean?" I asked and she shook her head "It just means we need to get this over real quick," She explained.
"I'm glad if you think so since you've been avoiding this for days now," I said and she shook her head again. "No, Nick. It's something else..." She trailed off as she looked down uneasily.
I raised my hand to her face and tucked the stray hair behind her ear. "What is it?" I asked sweetly as her gaze lifted slowly to look at me.
She cleared her throat and nodded to herself "Where do I start?" She mumbled before looking straight into my eyes "Okay, I'm not supposed to see you but since you needed to know I took that risk." She said suddenly and I looked at her confused.
"Uh, What?" I asked and she covered her face with her palms "I shouldn't have done this, I'm a fucking idiot!" She said to herself. I lift myself up to a sitting position and took both her hands and tore it from her face.
Her eyes widened as it looked into mine, filled with worry and scare. "Done what?" I asked her and she stayed silent. She broke our eye contact and sat beside me and bit her lip in concentration. "I made a deal," She finally said and I sat in silent waiting for her to continue.
"I promised to stop seeing you in order to keep your career safe." She said and I backed away in shock "My career?" I echoed angrily in disbelief. Miley closed her eyes a few seconds before opening them again "I couldn't let that happen," She continued.
"You're not making any sense," I pointed out, shaking my head. Miley's mouth parted as she look away "It's really hard to explain," She said and I sighed.
"Tell me what happened...from the beginning." I said, pulling her by the arms and closer to me. She looked at me unsure as I waited for her, looking into her eyes. "After I left the hotel..." She began "After I walked out, I came home and Olivia came-"
"What?" I quickly cut her off in disbelief "Can't you stop bringing her up?!" She sighed as her face turned pale. Her body slumped weakly as I stare at her in rage as I turned away from her. "Nick, please, you need to listen!" She plead and gripped my wrist.
"Why? so I can listen to you dissing my girlfriend and make her look like some sort of criminal?!" I spat with my voice raised as I tore her hand off me. I chucked the sheets away from my body and stood up from the bed, looking around the room.
