The dim light hanging above the rundown building's back door was flashing every second, indicating that it's dying.

But it's the only source of light in this dark alleyway behind the old and small studio.

It seems that the usual bright Californian lights didnt make their way above this place, I couldnt even tell where Miley's nose is.

I had her againts the door of my car as I stood before her. The drive from the cliffs turned out to be longer due to traffic, which means Miley had to stay curled up in the cramped back seat longer than expected.

Which also means, we arrived at Omica a little later, and now we're standing out it the 9 pm air.

And we managed to come here with no one following.

"You can go, my Mom's going to pick me up soon," She said, as her breath puffs out her mouth and into the chilling night.

I shook my head as I slipped my hand behind her back, my knuckles coliding with the cold metal of the car.

"I'm not going to leave you in this place alone," I said as I slowly dipped my head againts hers.

"Nick, no one comes through here, I think I'll be fine," She said, wrapping her hands around my neck.

"It's dark, I can barely see you," I replied.

"I'll stand under that light," She gestured over the dim bulb over the back door.

"It's late, It's not safe" I tried again. She chuckled softly as she loosened her grip around my neck.

"You're worried about strangers in the late dark night when you should be worried about my mother who's going to arrive here soon and would flip if she sees you," She said with a teasing smile.

I shook my head and returned the smile. "It's not safe," I repeated.

She placed her hand on my cheek as her smile grew wider. "I love how you care," She whispered.

I let out a light chuckle before pressing my lips againts hers. She sighed when we pull back and looked at me seriously.

"I'm gonna be fine," She assured.

"I still cant leave you here," I replied.

She threw back her head and sighed again. She looked at me again and removed her hand from my cheek.

"Fine," She said. "But hide,"

I smiled before giving her another kiss, this time on her cheek.

I stepped back from her and walked to the front door. I clicked open the handle and pulled open the door.

I climbed into the leather seat and closed the door behind me, before rolling the windows down all the way.

Miley walked over to the window and bent down to stick her head into the car.

"Alrigh then," She said at the sight. She placed her finger on my chin and pulled me closer to her face.

She closed the distance between us with a soft kiss. Her lips left mine and I opened my eyes to see her pulling her head out of the window.

She suddenly looked down and started to go through her pockets. She pulled her phone out and her eyes widened.

She raised it to her ear and said to the phone "Mom?".

Her eyes darted to me as she gestured her hand in the air, telling me to get down.

I bent down and my face met my knees. I heard Miley's footsteps racing away and I'm guessing she went to the back door.

"I'm at the back door," I heard her say.

And I wished I could lift my head up to see her one last time, but the sound of a car pulling next to mine told me not to.

I heard the door opened and closed and it followed with Miley's distant voice, greeting her mom.

I could see the lights from her car againts the graffiti-covered wall as it slowly faded, leaving me in complete darkness.

I stayed bent until I'm sure she was gone from sight. And after what felt like minutes, I slowly raised myself to face the dim alleyway, which looked darker than before.

I wished I had said goodbye.

"There you are,"

Olivia greeted as I walked into my room. I gave a small smile as I closed the door behind me.

She was lounging over my bed with the covers over her body. She slowly lifted herself up and balanced herself on her knees.

She pulled me by my shirt and pursed her lips to kiss me. I turned my head and it landed on my cheek.

She pulled away in confusion, her brows were furrowed and her mouth forming a small gap.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

I nodded and smiled. "Yeah, just...tired," I lied as I walked to the small couch on the corner.

I chucked my jacket to the cushions before throwing myself onto it. I threw back my head and closed my eyes as I gave a long sigh.

I heard footsteps approaching. I opened my eyes to see Olivia hovering over me.

The glint of concern in her eyes was unmissable and they were darting at me.

"You're pushing me away again," She said, sitting on the armrest.

I sat up in my seat and looked at her, shaking my head.

At this point, somehow I just dont care about her, I just want to get it over with her. But I cant because it'll raise questions, It'll bring me and Miley on the edge of losing each other again.

Olivia dipped her forehead againts mine and I wished I could push her off the armrest. But she slithered her hand on my lap and squeezed it softly.

"Please dont do this to me," She plead, closing her eyes. I didnt know how to respond, I honestly dont.

Because I dont want to feel guilty to Miley anymore even she said she understood why I did what I did.

Olivia positioned herself on my lap and placed her arms around my neck.

I wanted to run. My head is ringing telling me to escape. I feel Olivia's breath againts my cheek, her lips closing in.

"Stop," I said. Olivia did as I say, her eyes opened and she looked at me in confusion.

"Not tonight,"
