Colby looked up towards Corey but must have seen me in the process as his head snapped in my direction. We made direct eye contact and I smiled at him, he returned the smile attracting the roommates attention.
"Oh, hey Chloe" Sam said awkwardly.
"Hey" I broke eye contact and smiled at Sam before walking over and kissing Colby, he was kinda shocked at first but returned it and placed a hand on my cheek.
"We'll leave" Aaron said and I heard footsteps. Without breaking the kiss, I sat next to him - forcing him to turn towards me, his other hand making it's way to my leg. I leaned back on the arm of the couch, him coming with me. He broke away from the kiss and smiled.
"I really am in love with you"
"I'm in love with you too, Colby" we made eye contact again as I sat up straight - him doing the same. Both smiling, we started to talk. I slumped back again.
"You know, I called my brother as soon as I could when you finally said you'd go out with me"
"Really?"
"Yeah, of course I did! Didn't you hear what I just said?"
"Yeah of course I heard what you said! I said it back remember"
"Oh, yeah" I giggled and looked over to the hallway where I just about saw a head hide behind the wall.
"I saw that!" I shouted; the head popped back around the corner revealing Devyn.
"Hey, I checked in not long ago and heard everything"
"Well, you can all come back in now"
"Thanks" Sam walked in and took a seat.
"So, you've finished your little romantic cheesy movie moment?" he asked. Colby chuckled.
"Yeah"
"Good, good" they all came in and took a seat on the couches.
"To think not that long ago you two were denying even liking each other and now you've both admitted you're in love with each other" I blushed and looked at my lap, fiddling with my own fingers. They continued their conversations as I lay down with my head on Colby's lap and my legs over the arm of the couch. Over time I felt my eyes closing until I completely gave up fighting and fell asleep.
When I woke up I was in Colby's bed, assuming he brought me upstairs I rolled over to find my assumption correct. There he lay, asleep and peaceful. I peeked over his shoulder to see the time was 8 am so I decided to get up which meant getting off of the bed when the side I was on was against the wall. I slowly shuffled to the bottom of the bed and moved onto the couch before standing up. I walked over to the bedside table to get my phone, when I saw the date I was shocked: it was my birthday tomorrow - I was gonna turn 20. I hadn't told anyone in the house about my birthday and I wasn't going to change that so I placed my phone on the table and walked to the bathroom to get changed. As I walked back into the room, I saw Colby sitting up and rubbing his eyes.
"Hey, babe" I said with a smile, he looked up and returned the smile.
"Hey, when did you wake up?"
"About twenty minutes ago"
"Really?"
"Yeah, I fell asleep early. I don't like making assumptions but I assume you carried me up here?"
"Yup"
"Thanks"
"No problem" he got out of bed and checked his phone before grabbing an outfit and heading into the bathroom. I sat on his bed and laid back (probably ruining my hair but oh well) my stomach rumbled so I got up and went downstairs to the kitchen.
"Oh! Hey Gabe" I said when I saw him having a chat with Sam.
"Hi, I hear Colby is in love with you?" he said as I walked passed him, I glared and started to make myself some breakfast. "Is he awake?"
"Yeah, just getting changed I think"
"Oh, OK. I'll talk to him when he comes downstairs"
"OK, I'm going to eat in the living room"
"OK" I walked to the room and placed the food on the couch as I sat down. I went on my phone and heard footsteps down the stairs: I saw Colby go into the kitchen and start to have a conversation so I turned my head - giving him his privacy. I started to eat as more footsteps got closer. Suddenly a hand was on my shoulder and another on my head turning it towards a face - our lips connecting. The person pulled away quickly revealing Colby.
"I'll be back later"
"OK, see you"
"Bye" he pecked me again and left with Gabe. I finished my food and washed up before I hung out alone in Colby's room. That's when I remembered I had to edit so I grabbed my laptop from my bag and began. Eventually I finished the video so I texted Colby.
Me- How far away are you?
Colby- Brennen's, why?
Me- No reason
Colby- Um, OK?
I walked back to the kitchen and found Sam still there.
"Hi, Me, Alex, Devyn and Kat recorded a video yesterday along with me editing it today so I was wondering if we could post it on your channel? The joint one. We could just be an extra video a week"
"Oh! Yeah course you can. The password is <password> so go ahead"
"Thanks" I smiled and walked away to Colby's room where I began the upload and went back to the game room with my phone - watching some videos. I decided to make a new group chat and text to the people in it.

Devyn- Cool! Can't wait to see it
Alex- maybe we'll be the next internet sensation!

Me- I'll let you know when it's done so you can watch the finished thing

I walked back up to Colby's room and checked on the video it was 96% complete. When it finally uploaded I texted the group then Colby.
Me- Hey, might wanna check your channel
Colby- Why?
Me- Because there's something new and special on there
Colby- Oh really?
Me- Yeah, check it out
Colby- OK, I'll check in when I'm done ❤
Me- OK ❤
I walked down to the kitchen and let Sam know that I'd finished the upload he said he'd watch it so I went back upstairs and tweeted it out. When I checked the views there were thousands upon thousands already. The comments ranged from 'Where are Sam and Colby' to 'Who is Colby's girlfriend if he has one?' to 'What is the soon to be announced trip' and finally 'These guys are friendship goals'. I liked most of the good comments and moved on to going back on my phone. Eventually Colby walked in and said he thought the video was really good and that we should upload every week.
"Should we announce us?" I asked.
"Maybe, I mean we're ready but are they" he said dramatically.
"I'd hope so" I said with a giggle.
"Then let's do it, but not right now. Maybe in two days or something" I pecked him and we started to talk.
