The End

We'd lived in the new house for two years now. Alison and Luna were five and Ethan was three. Colby and I were now actors more than Youtubers as we'd appeared in an abundance of small films but I was about to be the star of a new TV show.

We'd noticed that Alison suffered from daily nightmares which only Luna could fix. They had separate rooms but there was a door linking them, that we'd had done, so that it was easier for them.

I woke up at six, showering and changing then doing makeup and hair. I walked into Luna's room, as she was the one who woke up Alison then Ali woke up and helped Ethan to the best of her ability. I gently tapped her shoulder, making her shuffle then look at me.
"Hi, mommy" she sat up, rubbing her green eyes, that were the same as mine, and scratching her head, which was covered by long brown hair, like Colby's (my hair was a slightly lighter shade).

"Hello Luna, could you get changed for your first day then wake up Alison please?"

"Like normal?" I nodded and smiled as she got up with way too much energy for a Monday morning. "Mommy?"

"Yes?"

"Will you do my hair?"

"If I have time after breakfast, yes. What do you want?"

"Straight hair"

"I'll see what I can do" I smiled as I walked out, going to the kitchen and beginning to cook breakfast. Usually we all had bacon sandwiches. Once I'd cut all the sandwiches and set them out on our dining room table, I heard three sets of footsteps coming downstairs.

Luna came into the room wearing black leggings, a deep red dress, and her black ballerina shoes. Alison followed behind wearing a white skirt, pink top, and white sneakers. She was holding hands with Ethan who wore blue jeans, a green shirt, and black sneakers. The three took their seats at the table as I did. Colby came into the dining room in his usual tshirt and jeans. They were easy to change out of and into for his filming.

"Excited for elementary school?" Colby asked, picking up his sandwich and starting to eat. Ali nodded but Lu didn't respond.

"Lu?" I asked. She waited a moment.

"I just do... er I think they may pick um on me" as usual she slightly struggled with her words.

"If they do that... I will um..." Ali thought a moment, "stand up for you!" she announced, proudly.

"Awe that's so sweet, Ali" I smiled at her. "I doubt anyone will pick on you. Why'd you think that anyway?"

"B-because you are a-a-actors" Colby and I exchanged a glance.

"They won't pick on you for that"

"But what i-if they do..."

"Then you ignore them" Colby said, smiling.

"How about you, Ethan. Excited for kindergarten?" he nodded.

"Abbie be there?" he asked. He recognised Abbie on sight from a mile away as they spent so much time together on weekends.

"Yes, Abbie will be there" Colby said, leaning forward slightly. "You'll see her almost every day!" Ethan's smile grew wide. I finished my sandwich at the same time as Colby so I took his plate along with Luna's. I placed them in the sink then heard Luna jump up.

"Hair mommy?" she asked.

"Right, of course. Could you wash up the plates for me?" I asked, looking at Colby. He nodded then stood, taking Ali's plate.

I grabbed Lu's hand, walking to her room and sitting her down on her bed. The girls had identical rooms minus a few items that personalised each of them. Both had a straightener, curler and crimper on a high shelf so they couldn't reach it but I could in case they wanted me to do their hair nice. I took the straightener, sitting next to Lu and plugging it in.

We had minimal chatter as we waited for it to start working. I'd straightened a few parts when I heard Colby.
"I'm off to work! Ali is with Ethan in the living room. See you later"

"Bye!" by the time I'd finished Lu's hair it was quarter to eight meaning we had to leave.
"Go downstairs and put your coat on. Check your bag for your stuff then wait by the door, yeah?" Lu nodded then ran out of the room. I put the tool away, following her tracks.
"Ali, Ethan! Come put on your coats. Ali check your bag" they did just that, I helped Ethan with his coat then checked his bag while Ali checked hers, put on her coat, and slung it over her shoulder.

I flung Ethan's bag on mine, picking up my own bag and pulling out the keys. "Ali, Lu, get in the car. Eth (Eeth) stay next to me." I unlocked the car from where I was and closed the front door behind us, then locking it. I helped Ethan get into his booster seat then checked on Ali and Lu. Ali always sat in the front, as offered by Luna, so it wasn't hard to fit them in the car.

The drive was twenty minutes to the elementary school meaning we got there at 8:05 so that the girls could meet up with their friends. I watched them through the gate, up until I saw Charlie - their best friend - join them.

They'd met Charlie in kindergarten and they absolutely adored each other. It was lucky they went to the same elementary school. I was worried about them, though, this was their first day at elementary school but I tried not to think about it so...

I then drove to the kindergarten, which was ten minutes away. When we got there it was around 8:15. I parked then got out of the car, leaving my bag except for my keys and phone. I helped Ethan get out, locking the car then walking whilst holding his hand to the door.

I handed him over to Camilla, who was the assistant carer for Ethan. He didn't stay with her long, though, because he spotted Abbie, Devyn and Corey's daughter, so he bolted at her. He gave her such as aggressive hug that they fell to the ground but they giggled afterwards and started playing.

I talked to Emily for ten minutes, as we always did, then handing her Ethan's bag. Emily and Camilla had looked after Ali and Lu up until around about last week (just go with it).

I arrived at set at 8:50. We filmed and workshopped ideas for about six hours. I left at 1:50, popping to Starbucks on the way to the Kindergarten. When I arrived, it was 2:20. I chatted with Julia this time, who was the officer worker. We had a long ten minute talk that ended with Ethan coming running at me. He hugged my legs so I offered to pick him up, immediately he accepted it.

Emily came walking over with a smile. She handed me his bag, which I flung over my shoulder. I asked how he was, meaning I left at 2:40. I helped Eth get in the car then climbed in myself, putting the Starbucks in the cup holder and starting the engine. We drove to the park, where I let him blow off some more steam as he attempted to do some running. (arriving at 2:45)

At 3:25, we left and began to drive to the elementary school. As it was only five more minutes away, we arrived at 3:30. That meant we had to wait for five minutes until the girls got in the car. For the twenty minute drive home, I asked them how their day was. They answered fast and simple.

When we arrived home, I asked if they had any homework. They both said yes and asked if they could do it alone in their rooms. I agreed then walked with Ethan to the living room. For a good thirty five minutes I watched the TV with him but then I began to prepare dinner. The girls came down at about that time, sitting with Ethan and watching the cartoons with him.

Colby returned at five, as he usually did, just when I'd finished dinner. We all sat down and ate. Asking about our days.

Later that night, when everyone was in bed and asleep, I woke up to the familiar sound of Alison screaming. I walked up to the door and peeked inside to see Luna already there as they hugged each other. I smiled as Ethan came up next to me. "Momma, why the screams?" I turned to him and kneeled down.

"Your sister is just having nightmares again" he nodded then went back to his room. As I looked into Ali's bedroom, I felt a sense of deja vu then I realised why. That dream... the dream I had that was the same as Colby's... it'd come true...
