"Colby! Can you come outside a minute?" I yelled so he could hear through the glass door. He put his camera down and walked outside "Take a look" I said as Katrina held her phone up to face him.

"Well we were going to announce anyway, right?"

"So you wanna record a video?" I asked.

"Might as well"

"We'll do it in a bit. I'm gonna go home"

"Awe, why?" Devyn asked.

"I don't live here and I pay for my apartment so I still need to use it"

"Or you could stay here?" Aaron suggested as he stepped through the open door.

"No, guys. I'm grabbing my keys then I'm off to my apartment" I walked up the stairs to Colby's room to get my keys, as I turned around I saw Colby in the doorway. "I'll see you in a bit" I smiled and started to walk past him.

"You're forgetting something" he held his arm out, blocking my path.

"And what's that?" I asked with a smile. Instead of replying he pulled my face so our lips connected. When he moved his hand I pulled my face away, "I apologize"

"It's fine. See you soon?"

"See you later" I walked down the stairs, to my car. Once I got in, I placed my phone and purse on the passenger seat, inserting the keys into the ignition and closing the car door. Once I turned the key, my car roared to life.

"BYE!" a voice shouted; I turned my head to see Kat waving on the front porch. I waved back and started to drive away, slowly making my way to my apartment building. I noticed Brennen's car was parked up - he must be here to see his girlfriend. I pulled up and turned off the car, climbing out at the same time as grabbing my purse and phone. Brennen got out of his car whilst staring at his phone.

"Hi, Brennen" his attention turned to me.

"Oh, hey" he smiled and made a tiny wave.

"Here to see Kayla?"

"Yeah"

"I'm gonna guess you really like her?"

"I do, actually"

"How long has it been since you spoke to Colby?"

"A few days, I think. Why?"

"Just wondering because I haven't seen you around"

"I am just focusing on videos and Kayla right now"

"I'm not saying you have to see him but maybe catch up a little. He may have some news" I smiled and walked to the stairway where I started to walk up the stairs. Once I reached my level, I walked to my door and fumbled with my keys a little but eventually got my front door open. As I shut my door I heard Brennen's voice again from down the hallway.

"Hey, Kayla"

"Hey"

"So, plan still happening?"

"Yeah, course. Operation Colby is about to commence"

"OK, good. You sure he will fall for it?"

"Of course he will! You're the only person he completely trusts"

"Actually there's one other" I said as I stepped back out of my door. "What's going on?" I asked.

"Oh.... uh... promise you won't tell Colby"

"What's happening?"

"We're trying to get Colby to walk into a trap"

"What do you mean?"
