This is it.

The music changed. I chose this song. I knew she was already there.

My hands are cold and shaking. I saw her parents walking down the aisle. Stopping midway to wait for her. Everyone stood up and turned towards the end of the aisle.

There she was. She wasn’t walking yet.

Thank you for this moment

I bit my lower lip. She started walking slowly towards me. She took my breath away even though she was still a few meters away.

I smiled.

My eyes burned a little. I pursed my lips and bit my lip again. I smiled at her. I knew she was looking at me. Through her veil, she was looking just at me.

I was still smiling looking at her. I saw her hand go in under her veil to wipe her face. She was crying too. I put my fist on my lips. Someone gave me a piece of tissue. I wiped my tears. I have never been this happy and emotional in my entire life.

She was now being flanked by her Mom and Dad on both sides. I can see her smile through her veil from this distance. Why is this such a long aisle?
