Have you ever noticed,
That I never say I love you first
I take it safe because the last time
The two people I loved ended up in a hearseThe last time I said it to my ex-grandpa
He ran off
And told me it was all a lie
Then drove away with a scoffThe last time I said it to my ex
He promised to stay around
But ended up cheating and lying
And ended up finding a reboundThe last time I said it to my parents
They looked me into the eye
And never said it back
And that is why I never lieIt's alway why I'm hesitant
To say I love you
But believe me when I say
I love you tooFor I mean it with every fiber
Of my being
I just cherish you
And don't want you leaving
