It's raining outside
It's falling heavy,
You want to stay along for the ride
Something to keep you steadyIt's pouring,
Something about the rain
Running down your face, restoring
It washes away the painThe thunder is rolling
I'm scared of loud sounds
But something about it is controlling
I feel like I won this roundThe lightening blazes in my eyes
And I step out into the pour
In the rain I'm not as shy
Just a little something moreI live for the storms
Because it hides the tears
Which roll down my face in many forms
And it washes away the years
