I used to make a tutorial for split letters, now we're on for split pictures!
Step one : prepare your pic.

Step 2 : select some parts of the pic.

Step 3 : copy paste it.

Step 4 : remove selection and add some drop shadow to the pasted part.

Step 5 : darken the bottom part.

Step 6 : add your title and you're done!

(I switched the blending mode of the layer to overlay).

Notes :
- the higher radius for the shadow, the more aesthetic it looks.
- how to split the text : duplicate the text layer, add it to the highest layer, erase excess.
