80/Our nightmares prt2 and throwback

Author POV 

"No, No No! Don't pull it! No!" Colby jumps awake. He was panting and crying. His body dripping with sweat and his eyes streaming with tears. The dream had come back. Dang you Jake. He thinks. He reaches beside him looking for his girlfriend's warmth but found emptiness. He looked up and saw her crying on the floor at the foot of the bed, she looks up at him. "Sometimes you being a heavy sleeper isn't such a good thing" she whispers. She walks over to Colby and he lets her wrap him in her arms. She sits against the wall with Colby lying down next to her using her chest as a pillow. She strokes his hair with one hand as he clings tight to the other pulling himself together slowly. 

"I'm sorry" he whispers. "It's not your fault...everyone was screaming tonight," she says. "The whole house including Devyn had a nightmare tonight. I woke up on my own and had to sit through screams and thrashing" she explains to Colby. "Everyone's in the kitchen" she finishes. Colby takes Y/N's hand and they walk into the kitchen, sure enough, everyone is in there puffy eyed and shaken. "I'm sorry," Jake says. "It's okay" Y/N comforts him. She hugs him for a minute then pulls away. "I never want to have that dream again," she says. "What was yours?" Colby asked holding her close. "I had to watch all of you die, the same way you did in your nightmares."

Y/N left the room to call Elton and while she was gone the roommates and even Devyn felt a little sorry for her seeing as she was close with everyone. 

*Halloween party*

Y/N POV

I was just finishing the final touches on my costume. We were going to a Halloween party with some friends, Blake and I were going as dead strippers because why not? We just had to mess up a few outfits from her club, which she owns and works for, and then cover ourselves in fake blood. Colby was a skull and Brennen was the joker. I did their makeup for them. Blake touched up some quick eye makeup for me and we walked out into the hallway to meet the boys. 

Colby reached out to touch me and Blake smacked his hand away. "Mine tonight because you wouldn't do what she wanted," Blake said sternly. Originally, I wanted Colby to dress up like Ash and I a pokemon. Colby didn't want to so Blake and I decided to take her job (and my part-time job) and turn it into a costume. Blake and I waited until we were in the car to put the boots on. When I got out the car I was surprised, we were greeted by a huge mansion. The party only started an hour ago yet there were at least a thousand people already. I was in awe, the place looked terrifying but amazing at the same time. 

We walked in the gate after getting our names ticked off the guest list. Colby grabbed my waist and pulled me close, I grabbed Blake's hand. She smiled at me and we went in. Colby and I slowly broke apart once we got comfortable. We danced and drank, Colby and I made out Blake even got a few kisses here and there, and then our outfits were noticed and we got set to work. Blake and I were shoved to poles in the center of a crowded room. We smirked at each other and I watched Colby and Brennen walk over to us. 

I saw lots of familiar YouTube faces, David, Liza, Jessie Paege, Frank, Pewdiepie was there for some reason. Logan and Jake Paul were in the front by Brennen, Colby, and Bradlee. Blake and I started doing the same routine we learned at 'work' so we were in sync and looking fine as hell. Colby watched me and I could tell how badly he wanted to be the pole. As me and Blake walked around the base of our poles, that were only five meters away at most, Logan smacked my butt. I saw Colby get mad. As I passed Colby I shook my head. I pulled him up and started making out with Colby as Blake did the same to some girl. 

After our number our group stayed away from that room, Blake and I got a lot of attention but they weren't even that exposing of an outfit. We all finished the night in high spirits and we all headed back to my apartment to crash and a few quiet drinks. 

*Bookworm emo girl*

I was sitting in my apartment when I hear a knock on the door. "Who is it!?" I call. "The most handsome person alive!" Brennen yelled back. I rolled my eyes. "Open!" I yelled. The door swung open, Big Nick, Colby, and Brennen swaggered in. I lifted my eyes over my book for no more than a second before continuing to read. I was listening to My Chemical romance and reading The Maze Runner and the boys just decide to rudely storm in. 

"Come on get up we need click bait and you kissing Brennen is just the thing," Nick said and Colby scowled at him. I rolled my eyes and kept reading. "Baby girl come on, come and eat lunch with us" Colby offered. "Come on baby grill" Brennen added. I shook my head and kept reading, I turned my music up a few notches. Nick turned the speaker off, I almost slapped him. "I'm going to hurt you all" I warned. Colby sat on my legs as Nick spoke. "Come on you bookworm ass emo ass dumbass ugly ass," Nick said. Colby shot a glare in his direction if looks could kill. 

I finished my page, I hit Nick then Brennen, and last Colby in the head with my book and we went out for Tender Greens.
