Chapter 29: The truth

Jungkook's POV

"Hyung are you okay now?" I asked while Jennie was outside.

"No. But I'm feeling better now."
His voice still sound weak.

While we are having a conversation, the door suddenly wide open, and both Kim and Jennie went inside the room.
My eyebrows met each other as I saw how Jennie's face looks distraught.

She took a deep breath before looking at her boyfriend and smiled at him. She went to his side and kissed it's forehead.

I took a glance at Kim and his eyes were glued to Jimin. He looked so serious. He locked the door and that shocked me more. He took Jennie's attention and signalled her something.

"I have something to say, and this is a bit confidential." Jennie said and walked into Kim's side.

"What is it Jen?" Jin hyung asked.

"It's been three days since the incident happened. And my mind is still searching of you could the culprit be."

"What are you saying babe?" Taehyung asked confused

"Do you have any idea about who could it be possibly?" Jennie asked us while taking a look at one another.

"That's not the question noona..." Kim suddenly speaked out "It's..who could he possibly be"

My eyes grew larger. His eyes is still on Jimin hyung and slowly I'm getting his idea and i don't want to believe it. I looked at Jimin hyung only to find out his also looking at Kim.

"We found out who he is" as she said those words her voice started to shake and her eyes is starting to be teary.

Taehyung managed to sit down. "W-what? W-who?" He asked

Jennie looked at Jimin. It's as if she's talking to him using her eyes. All our attentions diverted to Jimin.

"Jimin?" Jin hyung called Jimin who's looking down the floor.

"We took all the CCTV footage in Taehyung village. We took some clues and data's as well. And we found your car three house away from his house. and the man who came out of the car is the one who's also went inside Taehyung's house. And the car looks exactly yours. Is that y-you Jimin?"

As jennie explained every details, Jimin hyung looks hostile. He looks like he can't believe that we had actually recognized him.

"Jimin...." Taehyung suddenly spoke and Jimin looked at him for a second and avoided his gaze again "Please tell me... It's not you right?"

"It's...it's me..." As soon as those words came out to his mouth. Jin hyung came to Jimin and throw a punch to his face.

Jimin fell and i quickly went to his side and let him stand up.

"What the hell man?! Are you crazy?! Why did you do that?!" Jin hyung yelled

"Hyung please calm down.."I tried calming him down but...

PAAAK

He ran to my side and punch Jimin again.

"Leave this room..." Jin hyung commanded "I said leave this room and never show your fuckin face anymore!!"

Jennie's POV

After Jimin left the room i glanced at Taehyung, only to find out teard are already dripping into his eyes. I felt hands touched my heart seeing my boyfriend weak and crying and betrayed so i went to his side and hugged him.

"W-why?" He started "why did he do this?"

"Shhhhh"

I don't know what to say I know all of them are affected about this. I glanced at Jin and Jungkook. Jungkook is trying to calm Jin.

Knock knock knock

Kim opened the door and there comes a worried Irene

Another problem....

"Oh my ghad! Are you okay? What happened to you?" He ask Taehyung and even touches it's bruise, everybody is just looking at her weirdly

"What are you doing here?"
Jin asked.

"Obviously here to take a look at Taehyung?"she answered sarcastically

"Oh really?...well he's okay now. You may leave" Jungkook answered seriously

Jungkook and Irene stared at each other until i decided to break the silence.

"He's fine now. The doctor said he can go home tomorrow"

"I'll take care of him."What?!!

"No. Jennie can handle me"
Taehyung answered

"No please let me take ca-"

"I said before. Jennie can do it."

Irene looked shocked. Slowly she faced me. And i can read anger in her eyes

"What?"I asked

"You're a useless girlfriend!" She suddenly yelled at me.

"Wait wait what?"I asked confused

"You should've guard him properly, took good care of care him fully! If i was her girlfriend? I'll never let anyone touch him nor hurt him and you? What the hell?"

I suddenly got pissed but i calmed myself.

In the middle of Irene's yelling. She received a hard slap not frim me but from.... Taehyung

"Show some respect. You're nothing more than Jennie."

Irene is still holding her face. I don't know but in some ways i liked what Taehyung did to her..you deserve that bitch.

"It's been said. You may leave now honey." I said sarcastically.

She left without any words and shut the door loud. "Are you okay?" I asked Taehyung. He moved his haid like telling me no and even pouted.

Jin sat down so as Jungkook. "I'll just go buy us some snacks. I'm hungry" Kim broke the silence.

Jimin's POV

Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!
You're an idiot Jimin!! You're a dumbass idiot!!! Now.. you didn't just lost jennie but your friends too!!!

I stopped as I arrived in my house and immediately ran to my room.

There... I let out all my tears running. I felt weak i felt guilty i felt useless. I just added insult to the injury

"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry" i can't even help myself.

"What will I do now? I don't have anyone to help me"

My phone rang

I answered the call and put it in my ears not saying anything

Jimin.....Jennie?
What?
Where are you?
Home
Let's talk. I'll come there.

Immediately she turned off the phone. I quickly fixed myself and took a bath the freshen myself

I cooked some food for her and sat on my sofa and waited for her.
