Chapter 40: Leaving him for him

Taehyung's POV

"Jennie let me help you" I said while helping her pack her clothes. She is busy this days because of their family business and there are alot of times that she would forget our dates, meet ups and worst is anniversary but I understand it. I have no choice.

I stared at her while she is busy packing her things. I kissed her cheeks and held her hands "Can I come with you?" I asked sweetly.

"Babe? We talked about this remember?" She replied and took her hands off "There are aloy of things that I am going to do there."

"More Important than I do?" She stood frozen. I was shocked of what I just said. She slowly faced me with a questioning look.

"It's not like that. I thought you have already understand me."

"I do. I always do. Do i have another choice? but it's getting hard Jennie. You don't even have time for me."

"What? I'm doing this for us. For our future Taehyung." She replied and zipped her bag.

"For our future? Huh." I stood up and decided to just leave the room and go to the kitchen. I heard her muttered some words but i just ignored it.

I stayed in the kitchen for minutes until I heard her footsteps from the stairs. I continued eating until i felt her hands on my shoulders.

"I'll go now babe" she was about to kiss my cheeks but i quickly turned away from her kiss. "Babe.... please?"

"Do what you want Jennie. I don't care anymore besides when I ask and say something you'll just ignore and follow what you want either."

I left her there dumbfounded. I went to our room and get inside the CR to take a shower. After taking a shower i dressed my self and went downstairs.

I checked every corner but she is already nowhere to be found. But I saw a cake on a table and a letter on it. I went to the table and checked what's on it.

Dear Taehyung

I know your mad but I'm so sorry. I am really doing this for the both of us, please wait for me. I love you so much babe.

Happy 3rd Anniversary Babe!

Fuck!! Did i just forgot that it is our anniversary today?! Shit Taehyung you're a big asshole.

I took the cake and threw it for frustration. A yelled and after some moments I realized what I just did.

I immediately went to where i threw the cake. And tears streamed down ny cheeks after seeing it.

"No. No. What have I done?" I acted like an asshole to her when she was just doing all her best for me. For us. For our future. And I am her acting like shit.

Jennie's POV

Understand him Jennie. He's just mad. He will forgive you when you come back soon.

Tears are flowing through my cheeks as I remembered the scenario of how he just threw the cake that I baked for him.

It's all my fault though. I didn't listen to him instead I just keep on doing I thought what's good for us without noticing that I have left him hanging.

"Jennie? Shall we?" Jimin said while offering his hands. I gladly took it and we walked to the office.

I am with Jimin since we are both business parters. "You look sad. Are you okay?" I just nodded and shower him an assuring smile.

It's been 1 month since the last time i talked with Taehyung. And tomorrow we will be leaving to go back to Korea.

I keep on texting him and callinh him. At the first two dayd he always replies and answer my texts and calls but after 1 week he seldomly replies and answer my calls and texts.

When he answers my call. He would sound very cold and seems to always in a hurry. When he replies to my texts it's  composed of only 5 to 10 sentences.

And it's been 2 weeks since we have communications with each other. I miss him so much. I wanted to kiss, hug and cling on him again.

"Congratulations everyone" Dad said and we all stood up and clapped our hands because of the very successful businesses plan. I shake hands with all the business man and women around me.

Jimin and I hugged each other for a job will done. "Congratulations Jennie. We have finally made it."

"I couldn't make it without you. So Thank You so much Jimin" I said while still in the hug.

He broke the hug and held both of my shoulders. "Both of us made it. Because we did a team work"

I smiled until Dad came into our place. "I'm so proud of you my Daughter" We hugged each other. I broke the hug and faced Dad.

"Thanks Dad"

"So when can I have my grandchild?" He asked which Immediately made me blush "Do Taehyung and You have plans?"

"Dad??" Taehyung....I'm not sure anymore. I felt pain in ny heart on my own thought

"I'm just kidding baby. This means dinner. Mind if you Join us Mr.Park?"

"I would be glad Mr.Kim" Jimin answered and so we did have dinner.

The Dinner was full of talks and laughs since Jimin's parents came to join us. but I'm just seating there thinking of Taehyung.

I felt Jimin's stare so I faced him "Are you really Okay?" He asked with a worried face and voice.

"Yeah. I'm really fine Jimin. Don't worry about me" I smiled and continued eating.

He drove me to the apartment where i stayed temporarily. "Thanks Jimin."

"Your Welcome. If you need anything I'm one call away" I hugged him before going insidr and closed the door.

On my way to my bedroom i checked my phone If i received any text from Taehyung but I got none. Only from Jungkook and Jin.

Jungkook and Jin are the only onr who I get to exchange texts with. I asked then about Taehyung but they would just change the topic. I don't know why.
