Chapter 6: Dead or Alive?

Todoroki POV:

  I was on a golden scale...of death or life... I had to choose one. "Choose one. Choose wisely. Choose your future," said a little pixie in front of my face. " Who the hell are you?" I asked. "I am the life or death pixie! I get to help people choose life or death. Now, what is your choice Todoroki.. life or death?" said the pixie. [Flashback]

"Mom...mom!" I yelled as she poured boiling hot water on my face.
"Don't. Call. Me. Mom!" She yelled. I fell to the ground in pain.
"You psycho! Hurting my son is a something you may not do."said my father.
I lied there in serious pain. I don't want to keep living. I want to die and end this living hell.
"He will be exactly like me."my father said.
[ Current time ]

  I can't die...Midoriya is depending on me to survive... "Life or death pixie, I choose life," I said. "Wise choice." The pixie said.

I woke up to see myself hooked up onto machines. I'm alive.., I thought. " Midoriya.." I said. "Todoroki! You're alive!"said Midoriya happily. He jumped onto me and hugged me tightly. "Ooo can't breathe..." I said. "Oh! Sorry!"Midoriya apologized. He stared into my eyes and he made a sad expression like he saw the sadness in my eyes. "What's wrong?" I said. He didn't answer and he continued hugging me. "If I made you sad, what did I do?" I asked. "Why did you save me from the bullet? If I got hit, you wouldn't be here in a hospital bed." Midoriya answered in a low and depressed voice. "I can't say why..."
