It is a couple weeks later, and I've not only become closer to Casey but also to Luke, Ashton and Christie.

Speaking of Christie, I was walking with her to the cafeteria. We had just spent our between hour in the library, studying and just searching for books to read. She was just talking about this girl she had a big crush on, when Ashton stopped us in the hallway.

"Hey, can I talk to you for second?" He was looking at me. Before I could answer Christie already did. "You can say what you want to us." She pointed at the two us. Ashton hesitated for a second, "alone, please?" Christie rolled her eyes and walked away from us.

I was curious what he wanted to talk about, what couldn't he say in front of Christie? "I actually wanted to ask you something." I furrowed my eyebrows, ask me something? What could he want to ask me?

He suddenly looked very nervous. "Uh.. I was wondering, if you'd like to go out with me for dinner tonight?" What? Like a date? I've never been on a date! What? Do I have to say yes or should I say no? I can't say no! Look at his face, he was so nervous asking me he would be heartbroken. I can't do that to him. That is the only reason I say: "alright"

His nervous face changed in to a happy one. "Really? Oh that's great!" He said with a big smile plastered on his face. "I'll pick you up at 6:30?" I agreed, and we made our way to the cafeteria in silence. I so hoped that tonight would go okay, I don't want to make things awkward between us.

Class had just ended and Casey came running up to me. "Hey, do you want to hang out?" "I can't. I'm going out with Ashton tonight." His face fell, "like on a date?" I shrugged my shoulders. "I think so, he didn't exactly specify."

Before he just looked sad, now he looks more offended. "Is something wrong? Are you mad at me?" He didn't even look at me when he answered: "I'm not mad at all" He started to fasten his pace, making his way to car park.

"Casey!" I tried running after him, but I couldn't keep up. Before I could do anything he drove away without giving me another look.

Obviously, he was mad. I just didn't understand why. Was he so against me going on a date? Well, if he's going to treat me this way I'm not going to treat him any better. I thought getting a bit angry as well. Why does he think that he had the right to make me feel this way, without even explaining why.

But then I realised something. Casey drove me to school this morning. Shit. How am I supposed to get home? I considered just walking for a moment but then Christie came to me. "Hi! Where's Casey?" She asked looking around. "He left me here, and now I don't have a ride."

She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "What? Why? No wait, explain later. I can drive you home." She put her hand on my back and led me to her car. We got in and I started telling her what happened.

"Well, you know when Ashton wanted to talk to me? He asked me out for dinner, and I said yes. And then later Casey ask me to hang out, but I told him I couldn't because of Ashton. Then Casey got all grumpy and mad, without even telling me why. Then he said nothing was wrong and drove away, leaving me alone in the car park. Now I don't know what to feel. Because he just left without saying anything. Was I supposed to know what was up?" I ranted.

"Fucking Ashton" she murmured under her breath. "What?" I said in confusion, Ashton wasn't wrong in this situation was he? "No, nothing" she brushed it of.

"I think you just have to give Casey some time to calm down." Although I'm not sure why he got so worked up, that sounds logical.

She dropped me off in front of my house. "Thank you for driving me Christie." "No problem love, good luck tonight!" She honked her car and drove away.
