One Of A Kind (Adopted by the Avengers)

Chapter 10

3rd POV

     Once the Avengers plus Logan made it back to Avengers tower they all split up. Bruce to try and find a way to reverse what had happened to Angel. Bucky, Wanda, Logan and Pietro ran off to play with a tiny Angel, keeping her mind off of what had happened. The others just ran off with no explanation as to where.

     Over with Angel, she was currently hiding under a bed. Playing Hide and Seek with what she considered to be her family. As one of them slowly crept into the room, calling Angel's name she quietly giggled, holding her hand against her mouth. After hearing his voice, Angel was able to tell it was Logan calling out for her.

     As Logan passed by the bed, where he knew she was, he continued calling her name. Making her think he didn't know where she was. Just as Logan was about to pass by the bed, Angel jumped out from her hiding place, latching herself to his leg and yelling out a loud "Boo!" Logan, deciding he would play along yelled out in fake shock. He looked down at her with a warm smile and scooped her up off of his legs and into his arms.

     "What where you doing under the bed Pup?" He asked warmly.

     "I scarded you." She laughed out in amusement. Logan feigned an eye roll and sighed slightly before smiling back at her.

     "Yeah Pup. Yeah you did." At that moment, the others watching her walked into the room, smiling slightly at the self-proclaimed siblings.

     "Alright sweetheart. Let's go get some food in your little tummy." Wanda smiled, scooping Angel out of Logans arms and walking out of the room with a little "yay!" drifting back at the dumb-founded men that were left in the room.

     "Did she just-"

     "Yeah." Pietro cut off the super soldier. "Let's go. Maybe she will make us some food as well." He stated before speeding out of the room after his two younger sisters.

     "What do you want to eat little one?" 

     "I don' know." Angel shrugged innocently. Wanda couldn't help but smile at the tiny girl who was still so innocent despite what HYDRA had done to her. She couldn't help but be happy that Angel was turned into a toddler again. Maybe this was she could have at least a taste of what a normal childhood looked like.

     Wanda was quickly snapped from her thoughts when Pietro had sped to where she was standing, scooping Angel out of her arms and bolting towards the kitchen.

     "Hey!" Wanda laughed, running after Pietro with Logan and Bucky on her heels.

     Bruce, who was leaning against a corner watching with a coffee cup in his hand couldn't help but smile at the dysfunctional family. He started to feel bad about using Angel like that, but he didn't have much of a say in the matter. Just like going to S.H.I.E.L.D before the battle of New York and just like with Ultron. It was then he decided he would do his best to protect them all. Even if it meant getting locked up and deemed a traitor of S.H.I.E.L.D.
