Hoping (One Direction FanFiction)

Chapter Nineteen

I grab my bag and we lock up the car, Zayn's house is huge, it's bigger than Louis's. As we walk into the house I trip over a pizza box, typical boys. As we enter the living room, Harry, Liam, Niall and Louis are all cramped up on the small leather couch, they have small consoles in their hand and I quickly recognise the game they're playing,

"COD!!! PASS ME A REMOTE NOW" I scream

All the boys turn around surprised,

"What's wrong?" I ask

"You know how to play?!" Liam asks

"Well of course!!"

"But wait why aren't you in school?" Niall says

"Doesn't matter-" I say getting cut off

"She had a fight with someone, a fight fight" Zayn said interrupting me

All the boys raise their eyebrows and look impressed

"Why are you looking at me in that way" I question

"Summer can fight, did you punch her, slap her, rip out her hair?!" They all say at once

"Yea I kinda did all of that, but I'm suspended for a week" I groan

"Well your stuck with is for the next four days" Harry says with a grin

"Yep" I answer

The boys move over on the couch leaving a space for me, for the rest of the afternoon we all play video games, but mostly Call of Duty, our favourite. School has just finished and I texted Meg saying she should come over, about twenty minutes later she arrives with boxes of pizza and coke,

"Thank you Megggggggg" We all shout

"No worries guys, I've been craving for pizza all day" She replies

We all teach Meg how to play and soon enough she knows all the basic controls, Meg and I verse each other, I guide my character over behind the garage where I can see Meg hiding, I sneak up behind her,

"DIE DIE DIE!!!!!!" I scream, I shoot and she dies

"Another win to Summerrrrrr" I yell in victory.

Everyone decides on staying, so I text mum:

Hi Mum, at a friends house at the moment, will be staying the night, bye. Xx

Mum: That's alright sweetie, thank you for telling me this time, but I was thinking after school we could go shopping together? X

Sounds great, good night.

Everyone lies around all night, talking, laughing, at around threeish everyone has passed out all over the living room asleep. In the middle of the night I wake up freezing, I go up to sleeping Louis and nudge him,

"Whatttttt" Louis groans

"I'm freezing do you have a spare jumper?" I whisper quietly trying not to wake the others up,

"Take mine on the couch" he answers

"Thank you" I say

I go back to my place on the smaller couch, I leave the blanket on the ground cos I can't be bothered picking it up. I try and get comfortable, but I can't, after a minute I feel heavy feet pad across the carpet, and I see Louis come over and grab the blanket and put it over me. He must think I'm asleep.

I wake up to the bright sun shining through the tall glass windows, I hear Meg shout from her sleeping position,

"Damn it, school!!!" She jumps up grabs her phone and bag, screams a goodbye while fixing her hair and running out the door

"What time is it?" I ask

"11am" Niall answers

I get up and walk over to Zayns fridge, I spot juice, I grab the bottle and chuck open the lid before gulping it down,

"There is cups you know" Liam says smiling

"Who has time for cups" I say laughing

I spend the rest of the morning being lazy when I go out for a coffee run, I went to Starbucks. The place was so nice, I just love the smell of the coffee and the muffins, I should really get a job here, that would be amazing, FREE COFFEE. Well probably not, but you get to smell the coffee all day. After ordering, I collect the drinks and walk out of the shop. When I'm walking back to Zayns, I think about how I should really get to school early so mum doesn't know I'm suspended, she would personally kill me.

"Your drinks are hereee" I yell closing the door behind me,

Everyone runs up to me, mumbles a thank you and takes a drunk of their coffee

"Your welcome boys" I say

It's about 2.30, so I decide to go home and shower and change and then head to school, my parents are both at work so the house is deserted. I run up to the bathroom, flick on the hot water, and have a nice long shower, when I'm finished I go to my room and pick out what to wear, it's kinda sunny outside, I grab a black top and put on my daisy skater skirt, done. I just leave my hair down cos I don't really care what it looks like. I grab my bag, put on some shoes and head out the door, I fish through my bag in search of my sunnies, must of left them at home. I get to school just in time, the bell goes and everyone rushes out the door. I try and blend in with the crowd and then I spot mum's black car.

"Ready for shopping?!" Mum said excitedly

"Yep" I answer

We drive all the way to London Trocadero, I love shopping, I could walk around a shopping centre for days on end. When mum finds a parking slot, we walk into the shops. We walk in and out of all different shops, mum spends an hour in the same store looking at leather purses!! In the end she decides on the most expensive one there as we walk out of the store, mum says

"Isn't that the most amazing purse!! I know it was expensive but totally worth it!!" Mum says

"Yea it's nice, can we go down to the food court I'm hungry" I groan

"Sure lets go"

As we are walking I see two familiar girls from school, they both come up to mum and I

"Summer, I hear how you got suspended for a week!! Good job on bashing Bessie she deserved it, bye"

They walk away

"What do those girls mean by bashed and suspended for a week?!" Mum hisses.
