katya hadn't even found it hard to leave her parents behind. she had around two boxes and one suitcase full of stuff and that was it. trixie on the other hand, had around twenty boxes and three suitcases full off stuff, the whole of trixies car was so packed that they could barely fit katyas stuff in.

trixie had cried when she left the house. she would miss her siblings and her parents a lot, but that was something she had to sacrifice for her dream life. trixie and katya waved at katyas parents before setting off on the three hour journey to la.

they sung to songs on the radio and trixie had her hand carefully placed on katyas thigh. "how is your bike gonna get to la?" trixie asked. "my parents are shipping it, don't you worry." katya said, grinning. this time katya managed to stay awake for the whole journey and she loved how pretty the view was on the side of the road. she felt the excitement build in her stomach as they turned the corner to the parking block. "home sweet home!" trixie exclaimed, grinning and drove the car into the designated space for their apartment.

they told the building manager they had arrived and it wasn't long before they had the keys and were hauling box after box to the apartment. by the time the girls were done, it was about 4pm and neither one of them could even think about unloading everything that was in the boxes.

"i'm so glad we got a new mattress delivered here." said katya, as they pushed a long rectangular box into their bedroom. the apartment had two rooms and the girls had chosen the biggest one to be their room and the smaller one could be used as a spare room. the mattress they had ordered was one of those ones that came rolled up in the box and when opened it would unroll and expand.

"that was so easy." trixie said, grinning as they watched the mattress take its full form. katya flopped down on it and pulled trixie down next to her. "i don't think i can move anytime soon, i'm exhausted." she whispered. "me too." said trixie. "i can't believe we have our own house." trixie said. "trixie we could've moved to any apartment or even a cardboard box and it would've been home because i get to be with you, you are my home, my safe place." katya said, sincerely and placed a kiss on trixies nose. "i love you so much." trixie replied as tear rolling down her cheek.

katya wiped the tear away and stared into trixies eyes. "you're my aesthetic." katya said. "what?" trixie asked. "i appreciate your beauty." katya smiled. "you're a sap but i love you." said trixie. "and i love you too." said katya and placed a soft kiss on trixies lips.

that's all there really was to it. katya loved trixie and trixie loved katya. that's all each girl could ever want; to be loved.
