You were at Charlton Athletic Stadium to support the members of XO who were all taking part in todays event. You along with Gee and the other girls were sitting in anticipation waiting for the match to start. You watched as the players got ready for the match and began practicing passing the ball to one another. You saw Stephen kick the ball and we're shocked when you saw that the ball he kicked nearly hit a woman in the face and laughed as you watched his face fill with the same expression.
Not long after waiting, the match finally began and you watched as boys tried to tackle the Sidemen players and how they passed to one another. You and Gee both gasped as you watched Will tackle Rice Gum quite roughly. "Jeez I'm surprised he didn't get sent off for being aggressive" Gee says and you both laugh.
It had finally reached half time and you were inside getting drinks for the second half of the game. You met up with some of the Sidemen and YouTube all stars friends that you have previously met along the way but you were quick to get back out there to see the boys play.
You finally got your drinks and you were all sitting down again, just in time for the match to star.
The end of the match had arrived with a score of 7-1 to the sidemen. You all went to meet up with the boys and done so very quickly as they seemed desperate to get out and get to the hotel. You finally met with a tired Stephen and Will who were followed by Brian and Laurence. "Alright boys" Gee says. "Yeah I'm knackered though. Let's get back to that hotel and have a drink" Will says as slings his arm around Gees shoulders and she laughs. Yourself and the others follow with Stephen are your side. "Did you have fun?" You ask Stephen as you hold hands and walk to the 2nd bus. "Yeah. It was really good. I'm really knackered too. I need a nap" you laugh. "What about you? Did you have fun? You know... watching" You nod. "Yeah had a great time but I'm really tired too you know? That was hard work watching you run and stuff" He shakes his head in disappointment. You all climb on the bus and are met with the rest of the boys.
You reach the hotel not long later and you all pile into the building. First you put your bags in your rooms. You and Stephen are obviously sharing. "I'm gonna shower and then we can go down to meet the others. I don't know if you want to change or not cause apparently we're going out for dinner. You look fine in that though so I wouldn't" You smile and thank Stephen. "Yeah I'll just change my shoes though. These ones are a bit less formal" You say looking down at your dirty Stan Smiths which are covered in dirt. He nods and heads into the shower while you pull out your spare shoes and begin to get ready yourself
Stephen get outs 10 minutes later, fully dressed and washed and appears to be ready to go. "You ready to go down?" He asks you as you tidy some stuff into your suitcase for the morning. "Yeah. I'm ready" he nods and you both head downstairs where everyone seems to be waiting. Amongst the crowd is the boys from XO who have their own table and their plus ones. Stephen takes you over to the table and you take a seat. "Alright love birds" Brian calls and you blush whereas Stephen smiles. "How are you guys doing?" Stephen asks the duo who commentated the match. "Yeah we're good. Just about to get some drinks. You want anything?" Laurence asks as he stands up. "I'll have a vodka and coke please" Stephen says. Laurence looks at you. "What about you Y/N?" "Can I just get a Coke please Laurence?" He nods. "How are we doing this then? Just putting all the money in for the drinks for the rest of the night in now?" Brian asks as Laurence pulls out his wallet. "Yeah that seems a good way to do it" You say and pull out your purse. "Do you want me to buy it for you tonight?" Stephen asks with his wallet in his hand. "No it's fine love. I can get it" You say and pull out the money before putting it with the rest. Stephen nods and puts his on top too as does Will and Brian. "Right I'll be back in two seconds" You smile at Laurence and nod. You notice Will sitting quietly on his phone. "You alight Will?" You ask and his attention is brung back to the table. "Eh yeah. Sorry I was just messaging my girlfriend. I'm also knackered" You nod. "Everything alright like?" Brian asks, referring to his girlfriend. "Yeah yeah everything's fine. Just talking about today. She wished she would've came but obviously she can't just leave work. She's off tomorrow though so" You smile. "That's good. At least you can spend time with her properly without all of this going on" He nods and smiles. Laurence comes back over with the drinks and you all take your glasses. "Right lads and lass. Let's cheers to good friendships and getting drunk" Brian says laughing and you all join in. That was one of the many drinks that night.
Hours later, you and Stephen are laying in bed with each other, tired from the night and from today. "Want to get breakfast out somewhere tomorrow?" You ask running your hands up and down Stephens arm as he rubs his hands through your hair. "Yeah. I'll be feeling it tomorrow anyway so I'll need something to make me feel better" You laugh quietly and begin to close your eyes. "Night love" Stephen says, kissing your head. "Night" you reply before you fall asleep.
