You were a liar
that's all you'll ever be
you can lie to the world
but you cannot lie to me
and you cannot escape
you're the one sin
that I can't forgive
the only person I've ever learned to hate
yet I find myself caring that you are fine
a tiny part of me can't seem to leave the past behind
you were my closest ally
that's why it hurt so much to be betrayed
for a stranger, you would tarnish me
and so easily throw me away
