you were like a mother to me
an order that I tended to need
but you weren't always kind
you cared more for yourself
no, I could never hate you
but you were a bad mom
you wouldn't do anything for your kids
you were like an alcoholic
too deep in your own reality
to take action in the true reality
you couldn't care for me
because you couldn't truly care for yourself
you just pointed out the flaws in others
you were too stubborn to see in yourself
I hope you can love those things one day
