You had an energy
Hard to surpass
Was it real or just a dream
I still don't know
But I never could of predicted
The way things would go
That she-wolf could break us
That I'd let you go
And we play this back and forth
Argue again and again
Our relationship whatever that meant
Was never the same again
And I'm sorry I was petty
I'm sorry I hurt you
But I was still so broken
Even though I felt whole with you
But you were sparkling sunlight
With a gleam in your eyes
And a sadness in your heart
