You were my best friend
My oldest friend
We survived skating competitions
And road trips
A long list of breakups
And broken friendships
But we always stood by each other
So why is it now
You treat me as if I'm a stranger
I have always loved you
Held the door for you
Have you an encouraging nudge
Shared my wisdom with you
But now you didn't need me
It's seems as if I've grown up
And you've grown away from me
You're still living in a teenage fantasy
