Chapter 67

     Raph was up with Shooter while Shooter was getting dressed while still sitting. They only stayed at the room for two days as Raph saw Shooter healing okay.
     Raph stood at the door getting his jacket on then looked to Shooter as he remembered the two nights here like every night he would wake up from Shooter calling out his name low. But when Raph saw Shooter looking his way Raph turned his head fast then got his hat on. " I will get our horses ready... Come down when you are ready to go. "
    Shooter only nods his head as then Raph got the door opened then walked out closing the door. He walked down and out of the building as he went first to Shooters horse while he checked the saddle. ' How much longer will I have to call him Shooter... It feels weird calling him that and if I think of anything sexual with his name it feels like I'm cheating on Leo... '
     The doors where getting opened as he turns to see a young woman as she noticed Raph and came over flirting. Hey, what is a man like you doing out here all alone?"
      " Heading out. " was all Raph said not really paying any attention at the woman. While Shooter was getting to the door but heard then Raph talking to a woman while he learned to the wall by the door hearing them talk as he felt as if scared at what Raph would do.
     " You should come in and relax for a little. " She said getting her arms around him as he then said back still not looking back. " No thanks. "
     Shooter blushed looking down as he then looked a little out seeing her on him but it didn't last long as Raph then grabbed the girls arms and pulled her away from him as he had the look of pain but kept also a serious face. Shooter blushed more and looked away as he heard Raph then said. " There is nothing you can do to help me now go..."
     Once she was free she walked back in as Shooter looked at her then at the door while he took in a breath and walked out of the place while he saw Raph know at his saddle. Shooter didn't know what to say as he looked at Raph as he stood by his horse as he looked to be still in his serious look. " Raph?"
    He looked to Shooter and got on a small smile as he went over. " Hey, you finally ready?"
     Raph came close as Shooter looked a little away as Raph started to get his hands to Shooters sides helping him to get on the saddle. Shooter blushed really hard as he got on and grabbed the rein that Raph just handed him when he went to his horse while Shooter looked at his hands as they had clean wraps from last night.
    He clenched them and looked back to Raph as he said not thinking. " Why did you wait till then to show up?"
     Raph got on his saddle and looked to Shooter as he lost his smile. " I felt that I would be interrupting your mission... So I stayed behind. But if you ever needed me I would be there with no hesitation. "
      " But why still try Raph. Leo is gone... As well as his feelings..." Shooter felt pain hearing himself say that but he also saw the pain in his eyes as he looked to him still. " just because you lost your memories and feelings for me does not mean my feelings for you will change. And if you hate me for that then go ahead and hate me. And if you find another person to love I will still be there where you will need me. "
      Shooter looked away and started the horse to walk as Raph watched him go past him and off when Raph then got the stallion to turn and follow Shooter behind.

    They were silent that whole day till it was getting cold and dark so Raph said stopping his horse. " We better make camp to stay warm. "
      Shooter started to get off the horse but as he went to get a foot to the ground but his hands gave out to soon as he fell to the ground grunting getting his hands to his sides feeling them go in pain. Raph saw Shooter as he got right off and ran to him. " You okay?"
    " I'm just fine! Just leave me alone!" Shooter snapped in pain as he shoves his arm away from Raph starting to get up. But he still felt Raph help him as Shooter looked at the ground and signed feeling now bad. " I'm sorry..."
     " It's fine. I now being in fast sharp pain does not feel that great. " Raph said with a light chuckle as they then got to a spot to the ground as they were in the wide open but they got to a few big rocks as Raph got Shooter to lean against it. Shooter looked to Raph as he stood back up and went to get some stinks if he could find enough.
    Shooter would watch him and keep eyes to make sure Raph was okay as Shooter felt he was getting snappy with Raph all of a sudden. ' I like Raph... But why am I being such a jerk...'
      He then blushed as he felt a little hot again as he looked back up to Raph. ' Not the right time to be getting turned on Shooter... Ah darn, it stops...'
     Shooter closed his eyes and took a few breathes when he heard Raph coming back making a fire as Shooter felt the heat. So he opened his eyes and looked to Raph again as he then looked away blushing. ' Don't be stupid Shooter... With what you said do Raph he is not going to want to be near you knowing you have no feelings for him...'
     Shooter then saw Raph sitting across the way from Shooter as he looked to the fire. Raph felt the cold but just kept it to himself not wanting Shooter to get more mad as he felt that Shooter was still not feeling good about the pain in his hands.
