Outlaw's Help ~* COMPLETED *~

Chapter 9

    Leo kept his face at Raph as it turned to hurt as he signed looking down. " Raph... I'm sorry okay... But I have to be the one that takes things seriously..."
     Raph lost his look then leaned to the door frame getting his hands in his pants pockets watching Leo look a little down. " there are times for that Leo. But you need to do this tough guy thing to the ones that are a threat to you and your family... Unless you see me as a threat."
    Leo looked to Raph not expecting them two to look close to each other faces as they both were at the doorway. " I don't think you would hurt my brothers Raph... But if anyone knows you where here it could cause us a lot of trouble or threats..."
    " Then I will leave and you won't have to worry about it. " Leo grabbed Raph's arm again as Raph looks to Leo yet again. " Leo let me go."
    Leo held his grip to Raph while they would look at each other's eyes when then the door fast opens as that broke they stare down as Mikey said worriedly. " Leo it's the cow that got screeched... She is giving birth but Donnie doesn't think the mother will make it..."
    Leo lets Raph's arm go but shoved Raph back hard in the room as he landed against the bed as Leo then went to the door closing and locking it.
    Raph got over to the door trying to open it as he yelled banging the door. " Leo let me out know!"
     Leo looks at Mikey and said. " Don't let him out until I come back. "
    Leo then runs out and headed to the barn to help Donnie seeing the cow looking bad as Donnie looked at Leo. " She is barely pushing... If she can't get it out I will have to cut the baby out. "

    Leo was over to the cow's side rudding her side trying to calm her down. Donnie would try the best he could to get the baby out as the hours where passing when Donnie said looking at Leo said sadly. " Leo... I have to cut her or the baby will die too..."
    Leo knew that the cow was slowly dying at the birth but he also felt it was from the bear that scratched her so he stood and went over to her face. " Okay."
      Donnie then came over and got his knife out as Leo would look only at the cow until he heard the cow cry in pain as Leo then got her head in his arms. " It's okay..."

    Raph was still on the bed as he was still in all his clothes looking at his hat that was in his hands. Mikey was in the room with Raph while they stayed silent the room silently as they both heard the front door open while Raph said getting up. " About time Leo..."
    But as he stood up he looked shocked seeing Donnie there with his hands and arms covered in blood. Donnie looked at Raph then at Mikey. " She didn't make it..."
     Mikey got up asking as he went out and over to the room. " And the baby?"
     " Leo is with him. He will be inside by the time its dinner." Donnie then went to wash his hands and arms while Raph came out. " Why is he with the baby cow? Don't they develop fast?"
      Donnie said to him not looking to Raph. " He is going to be around it to make sure it walks and feed it some milk to make sure it drinks... But if I were you... You better go back into the room and stay there or Leo will get mad again."
     Raph looked at the door and got his hat on his head as he walked out while Mikey said. " I will get the fire started I guess. "
    Raph closed the door and headed to which he thinks was the barn Leo was in and went over to the door opening it as he saw a sleeping cow and then the little baby cow by Leo as he was being fed. Raph stood there but closed the door as he could tell Leo was really focused as he was not noticing Raph coming over til he sat by Leo to the ground. " you should be in the bed..."
     " Figured you would not want to be alone... " Raph looked to Leo as he kept his face to the baby cow but Raph could see he was sad while Raph leaned to the wall and got his arms over his head as he closed his eyes. " You can't help every one Leo."
    " I know... But if I probably got her to go a different direction then she would not have got hurt... Or maybe if I had the bear kill me she would be here with her baby. " Raph kept his eyes closed as he spoke again. " You could have left me and found the cow."
     Leo looked up then at Raph as he opened his green eyes and to Leo as they looked at each other's eyes. " What is with you wanting to die?"
    " There are things Leo that only death can be in someone's future. " Then Raph closed his eyes again as he continued to say. " especially for outlaws like me... So stop acting like you are at the edge of death when you aren't Leo. "
     Leo watched Raph there while he then looked to the cow still feeding as Leo asked: " Want to feed him?"
    Raph opened his eyes then looked at the cow. " I could reopen my wound."
     Leo put on a small smile saying to him making Raph then smirk back to Leo. " Then I will just have to pin you to the bed again so Donnie can stitch it back up. "
     " Fine. But it better not jump on my head like that chicken did. " Raph said with his smirk as he came closer to Leo that was laughing as Raph's joke as he grabbed the bottle and the cow came closer to Raph as it landed on his lap getting fed again while they two looked at the cow feeding from knowing Raph as this was also his first time feeding a cow.
