Outlaw's Help ~* COMPLETED *~

Chapter 1

     Snow was falling at the morning of the small Hamato farm while Leo was up and outside sitting at the porch with only his pants on looking out to the cold morning fog while the sun was just starting to set at 4:46 am. Their father was not doing to good these few days as he talked to Leo last night letting him know that he was going to inherit the farm once he passed.
      Leo's hand was fondling with the family pendant that would go around their hats. But he felt the need to hold it close while he soon then stood up getting back inside to get his boots and shirt on.
      Once he was dressed he checked on his sleeping brothers and father when he then went to the door and grabbed his hat getting the pendant back on his hat placed it on his head and walked out. Leo went to the barn where the horses were and went to his horse that was a pure brown stallion horse as Leo went over checking the lace of his saddle tightening it as he then mounted the horse and pets her neck. " Alright, girl lets get going and find the cows."
      Leo then grabbed his reins and started his horse off in a walk as they got out of the barn and off to the big field to go find the cows for their monthly check-up. Leo then had her go to a trough as that lead to running out where the sun was rising.

        The cows were around the river drinking and eating the grass around them not paying to much attention to their surroundings as Leo was coming up to the cows looking at them as he stopped a few feet as he grabbed his rifle just in case any outlaw would come to try getting their cows for a meal or even the wolfs around. So once Leo was armed and ready he used one hand to hold the rein as he then got his horse to start walking over.
       The snow was nearly falling but there was just enough to cover a little of the ground till the cows saw Leo and start to call out and run a little as Leo got his horse to then run as they got to the way the cows were going to do moving them to the way to the farm.
      Leo stayed close to their sides watching them all run the right then but one caught his eye and so Leo looked over to the others making sure they would not turn then went and turned going thru to the river walking passed it as while he saw it laying down not getting up but breathing hard so Leo quickly went over and dismounted the horse getting to the cow petting its head.
       As it saw Leo the cow got a little moving struggling to get up as Leo said calmly. " Hey, girl it's okay... You have your baby early it looks like this time."
       So Leo got his hat off and went to her head a little closer to comfort her as she was slowly trying to push the baby out. But as it was talking longer Leo got to his horse and tied the rein to the saddle as it was a signal for the family to know he needed help.
Leo then grabbed the rifle and slapped his horse to have it run off to the farm as it ran off and Leo went back to the cow. " You will be okay."
      He would watch the cow try to make sure she would not faint from being too tired to push it out as the minutes turned to almost an hour when Leo was hearing horses. So Leo looked up as he heard them coming from the opposite of where his farm was.
      So Leo grabbed his rifle by him and stood up as he kept the rifle front to the ground but had it ready to fire if it was intruders. Soon he saw three men coming as Leo got the rifle up and said in a warning tone. " I will blow your hats off your heads if you don't turn around!"
       Two stopped as one still came over as Leo looked that the man as it was the ones trying to get their land. " I came to talk to you."
      " Know is not the right time Hun..." Leo said still holding his rifle but pointed it down as Hun looked at the cow then back to Leo. " I see. Come to town this weekend and we will talk about the terms. "
        " There is no terms! We are keeping our land!" Leo said loud as Hun was about to get over to Leo but then his brothers then started to come over as Leo still kept his eyes on Hun. " Someday Leo you will be alone and we will get our fun and that farm. "
     Hun then rides off as Leo got his rifle to the ground and back to the cow as Donnie got off his horse first ignoring the ones there since he knows who they were as Leo asked. " Are the cows in the fence?"
    " yes. Then we saw your horse. How is she?" Donnie asked as he came to where the baby would come out. " She has been trying to push but I think she is getting too tired..."
      Mikey then came over as Leo looked to him. " Mikey come over here and comfort her since you fainted the last time you helped Donnie birth a cow. "
        Mikey frowned but went over as Leo then moved to be by Donnie as the cow tried to push again as Donnie saw the foot of the cow coming out.  He grabbed it and gently pulled it out helping her get the baby as Leo helped to get the other foot as then soon the baby would be laying by the mother cow as it moved its head over while the baby cow took a few seconds but started to slowly stand up walking around. " We better get them to the farm. "
      Leo nods getting up and to his horse as the others did the same while Leo said. " I will get them to the farm you two go head back to check the others. "
