Outlaw's Help ~* COMPLETED *~

Chapter 6

    Mikey and Leo where put reading while Mikey was heading to feed the cows while Leo headed inside. As he walked to his room he saw the man standing getting his pants on as Leo went in. " You shouldn't be standing."
     " And I don't feel comfortable in some one's bed naked..." he said looking at Leo as he then sat on the bed as Leo saw the mark on his side as it was still showing a little. " Did you eat anything yet?"
     " Yeah, your brother got me something to eat... So what is this place? A farm?" Leo leaned a little to the door frame and said crossing his arms. " Yeah. We care for cows, Chickens, and pigs..."
    He looked at the window then as he looked back to Leo. " What's your guy's names?"
    Leo looked at him hesitating to even ask then lie while he watched the man just sit there. " I'm Leonardo but just call me Leo... My brother that helped you is Donatello... And there is our little brother Michelangelo..."
     He looked to Leo then said getting up as he came to Leo surprising him a little as he got his hand out to Leo. " I'm Raphael and thanks for bringing me here to treat my gunshot..."
      Leo looked at Raph's hand turn got his own out and grabbed it feeling that Raph did have a good grip as Leo said. " I only did it because you save my life from that bear. Don't take this wrong bit once you can ride a horse we will give you one and leave. "
    Raph lets Leo's hand go and gets his two hands up saying with a small smirk not surprised. " hey I get it. I'll leave when I can."
     Leo then started to turn as Raph watched him then got back to the bed and sat there grunting at the pain to his side from only standing up.

     The snow was getting a little more hard with the wind blowing to the side making Raph wake up as he looked at the window seeing the storm while he frowned and got the blanket over his shoulders to his face turning to his wound side not realizing it as he almost yelled in the sharp pain but got a hand to his mouth grunting hard as he laid back to his side.
     His eyes were shut hard while small tears from the pain came down his face as he soon heard the door open making him look over to the door removing his hand. He thought I was going to be Leo but to see it was the one brother he didn't meet yet. " I thought I heard you in pain. Do I need to get Donnie?"
    Raph sat up and shakes his head. " No. Just turned to the wrong side is all... Your Mikey right?"
     He nods with a smile when he came in and sat on the stool by Raph. " Yeah. You must be the one that saved Leo."
    Raph looked at the bed as Mikey slightly lost his smile while he asked rubbing the back of his head. " I have to ask... "
    Raph looked back to Mikey as he let him ask the question. " If you're a Foot Outlaw... Then why did you save my brother from that bear? Since I was told your group only looks out for their own..."
    Raph looked a little surprised at his question while he then looked back to the bed as he opened his mouth to answer. But the truth was he didn't know why.
     All he remembered was seeing the bear running his way with something ahead of Raph. Because his vision was blurry from the loss of blood so Raph looked at Mikey. " I guess I saved him without knowing... I thought the bear was coming at me. Haha, guess I was wrong."
    Mikey looked to Raph then got a big smile again. " I bet you are here for a reason. "
    Raph looked confused as he asked looking at Mikey. " For a reason? What reason would I need to be here? Your family seems pretty happy from what I can see and hear out that door. "
     Mikey looked away and to the window as Raph could tell that something must have sadly happened to them. " We actually lost our dad the day Leo brought you here..."
    Raph didn't know what to do as he just said sitting there looking sad to Mikey. " I'm sorry... He must have been a great dad..."
      " He was great... But when he left I think it infected Leo more than me and Donnie..." Mikey then looked to Raph with his smile. " I think you are here because you are to replace our dad."
     Raph looked at Mikey like he was crazy making Mikey laugh saying. " Not as a dad haha I meant like a family member. "
      Raph then lost his crazy look but said. " I hardly doubt that Mikey. I am a Foot Outlaw. We can't be trusted."
      " I trust you," Mikey said surprising Raph as he said. " But you don't even know me..."
     " My dad told me that I was the smart one in seeing the goodness in people. I don't see you as a bad man Raph... Well, time for bed long day tomorrow since its snowing hard. "
     Raph watched Mikey about to leave as Raph had to ask. " Is everyone inside sleeping okay?"
      " Donnie you and I are in the house, " Mikey said as he looked like he was thinking. " Where is Leo?"
     " Oh, he is in the cow barn tonight."
     " What why is he in there? Won't he freeze?" Raph asked as Mikey said. " He is in there just in case the cows give birth. He is also used to being in there all the time so I'm sure he will be alright. But you make sure you get some sleep Raph because Donnie is going to check on you again in the morning. "
      Mikey then left as Raph looked down laying back in the bed as he thinks to look at the window and to the snow storm. ' Even when I'm out with the group it still got freezing... How can he stand the cold all alone...'
