This is my first Star Wars fanfiction. It takes place before The Force Awakens but will probably have spoilers for Episodes XII and XIII. It's rated Mature for a reason; there will be lot of content that some people might find triggering, frightening, or uncomfortable. Unlike my other stories, there won't be any warnings before each chapter and very few author's notes, if any, after this introduction, but the warnings always apply.
I love Star Wars and will be referencing a lot of the canonical lore, especially involving the Sith, but this is, more than anything, a character drama with political overtones that happens to be set in the Star Wars universe because I like the characters and socio-political structure of the Galaxy and the First Order.
I hope you'll give this story a chance. I've been working on it for a while before I started publishing it and have much of it already written. Updates will be a bit slower while I'm finishing up a few other stories, but there will at least one a week, if not more.
