Thalia POV

I was practicing archery with Lady Artemis. Although I'm not a hunter anymore, I still can roam around with the hunters. I was recently turned into the goddess of thunderstorms, precision, and atmosphere. I chose not to be the goddess of heights, well, because, okay fine! It's because I'm scared of heights.

I was thinking about Nico and the prophecy recently. Has Hades and Zeus turned us to gods because of the prophecy? Probably. I still felt sorry for the kid. He's been through a lot, and yet he was turned into a god without his permission. I, well, I was stubborn at first, but when my father revealed the prophecy to me, I felt the necessary need to ensure that Nyx goes down. After Nico heard the prophecy, he probably forgave his father for turning him into a god.

I was hunting a certain deer in the forest. The hunters were divided into two separate groups. Artemis and half of the hunters were hunting the east while the rest of the hunters and I were hunting the west.

I suddenly sensed something wrong(yep, my godly power). I held my hand up to signal 'wait'. We all created a perimeter and notched our arrows everywhere. I heard a whoosh. A hunter fell to the ground. I heard another 19 whooshes. 19 more hunters fell to the ground.

"Who are you?" I demanded. I couldn't find whoever was shooting the arrow. The stranger was hard to sense. He or she completely masked his or her presence.

A figure immediately jumped down the tree as I drew my hunting knives. We tried to slash and stab each other. I saw a figure emerge from the shadows right next to me: Nico.

He leaped at the stranger, one hand outstretched. He then grabbed the stranger off the ground with one hand on his or her neck.

"Who are you?" Nico demanded.

When the stranger didn't respond, but was visibly choking, Nico was angry.

"Who are you?" Nico snarled. Still, the stranger said nothing. He or she was now desperately struggling for breath.

"WHO ARE YOU?!" Nico repeated harshly. He then tore off the stranger's cloak. It was a female. Nico threw her on to the ground as she gasped for air. He grabbed my hunting knife and held it against her throat.

"You may have a god's power, but a knife can still kill you." He said, deadly serious.

"F-fine." The stranger choked. "I-I am a d-demigod child of N-N-" She then fell down as she was about to reveal to us her godly parent. I examined her.

"A poison dart on her neck. Dammit!" We both turned around and saw a figure with a jet pack blast into the sky.

"Shoot." Nico muttered. "Looks like we have news to report."
