Thalia POV

I waited in my hotel room, bored. I couldn't believe I actually kissed Nico. Aphrodite, why?! When Hades broke the news, we were both really sad. Hopefully the Hunters arrive soon so we can find the stupid bounty hunter.

Blinding light flashed arround me. Finally! I averted my eyes as Artemis warped the Hunters and herself here.

I got down from the bed and bowed. "Lord Artemis." I said respectfully.

"Good to see you, former lieutenant." She stated. "You were one of my best lieutenants, alas, Lord Zeus has made you into a god." Wow. They weren't supposed to know that. I guess Lady Artemis hates hiding things from her hunters. "Anyways, my hunters are here to accompany you for the search for the bounty hunter. Meet my new lieutenant, Rosa Garcia." A girl, about 13 stepped forward. She had dark-brown eyes and black, long hair. She was also wearing a silver coat and a necklace. I assumed she was a demigod.

"A pleasure to meet you, Thalia Grace." She greeted. We shook hands. Suddenly, I remembered the prophecy Hades told me and Nico when he came.

A Camp shall fall by the hands of arrows

A new leader of the hunters

Shall become a vicious headhunter

No. It can't bee. She seems like a nice person.

Looks can be deceiving, young god. A new voice said in my head.

Who are you?

The one known as Night.

Nyx! Get out of my head!

My pawn shall destroy your camp and assert my dominance!

She will never! You cannot win as long as Artemis is with us!

We'll see about that, young god.

There was no way Rosa Garcia is a murdering psychopath. A) She seems to be a nice person. B) Even if she was, she can't do anything under Lady Artemis's watch.

Could she? What if Nyx sent a diversion to distract Artemis?

"We will depart tomorrow morning." Artemis stated. She snapped her fingers. Suddenly, 10 mini-tents appeared in the room with a sleeping bag inside. "My hunters will be staying here if you do not mind, Thalia."

"Not at all." I affirmed with glee. This was going to be exciting. It's been way too long since I've spent time with the hunters. I first went to greet some old friends. My eyes darted across the room until it landed on a certain hunter.

"Phoebe!" I shouted. She spun around and saw me.

"Thalia!" She shouted. We then hugged each other. "Long time no see, Thalia!" This was my chance.

"Have you heard about the prophecy of Erebos?" I asked. Her expression turned dark immediately.

"I know what you're on about." She affirmed. "Lady Artemis told us about the prophecy. Trust me, I do not trust Rosa either." She seemed to have read my mind. "In case she switches sides to destroy a camp, I'll shoot her in the back."

"I agree." I agreed. "She seems suspicious."

"However, I doubt she could do that with Lady Artemis leading the hunt." She assured me.
