Nico POV

When King Minos got 'fired', I left the cemetery. Wait? Where's Thalia? I wandered the woods, searching for her. The woods wasn't the most pleasant of memories. I remembered when I first ran away from Camp Half-Blood. Although most demigods called it home, I did not. When I figured out I was a son of Hades, I ran away immediately. I then only had the woods to call home, with King Minos as my mentor.

Still though. Where in Hades was Thalia? I scrambled through the woods until five minutes passed. I then proceeded to shadow-travel to her. As a demigod, I could only shadow-travel if I know my current location and new destination. As a god, I could shadow-travel to certain people too.

Thalia POV

I was examining a note left behind the Bounty Hunter. I found it while Nico dealt with Minos. Looks like this 'Bounty Hunter' was careless.

"Dear  Leader Sebastian

I am now working for a new client known as Nyx. I will not be back in your organization for the next years. She requested something along the lines of 'Kill the Seven'. I will track them down. It will probably take a day. When I'm back, I will resume my biddings.

                                                                                                                                                                    Sincerely,

                                                                                                                                                                     Liam"

I read the letter. These woods must be a meeting place for this 'criminal gang'. From what I induced, the leader, Sebastian, threw the letter here in rage. Wait... that meant the 'Bounty Hunter' was currently hunting the Seven. Oh gods.

I turned and found a shadow spiraling outwards. When it stopped, Nico was standing there.

"What? Where did you go? I thought we were taking Minos together?" He asked.

"I was going to, until I found a big clue." I answered, holding up the letter.

"Oh. Well, my father and I took care of him anyway. Why did you have to go so far?" He demanded. I pointed to my right, which was the cemetery.

He blushed sheepishly. "Oh. You... were here... the whole... time?"

"Yes."

"Oh..."

"Anyways," I continued, "read this letter!" I waved it loosely in front of his face.

"Okay, okay, jeez." He snatched the letter from me and started reading.

By the time he finished reading, he looked at me, eyes widened. "This means that this 'Bounty Hunter' is where Percy and the others are probably right now! We need to hurry up!"

"Hey you!" A new voice shouted. We both turned around. We saw a group of mortals with guns.

"You!" The man in the middle shouted. He must be Sebastian, the leader. "How dare you read that letter! That's a private letter!"

Nico and I snapped our fingers. Lightning struck them and shadows engulfed them, strong enough to scare but not injure or kill them. They screamed and ran away, hopefully to never be seen again. Nico and I high-fived each other. We were learning how to be a team. We then shadow-traveled over to Egypt. We needed to locate the Mariana Trench, and even as a god, Nico could only shadow-travel so far. The farthest he could go was Egypt.
