Summary: After everything goes back to normal and Aqualad is no longer 'with' his father, he happily enjoys his time with (Y/N). Aqualad then surprises her with a trip for a date.

"Kaldur?"

"Yes, (Y/N)?"

"N-Nothing, it's a stupid thought...", you trailed off, sulking slightly.

Kaldur put down his book, looking at you determinedly, "What is it?"

You swallowed your saliva and intertwined your fingers, "Weeeellll... since we don't have any missions lately, I was thinking... how about a break?"

Kaldur cocked a brow, "What do you mean by that?"

Your eyes met his once again and you were struck once again by his deep-as-the-ocean eyes. How was it that you had gotten such a person?

"A... a..."

"Date?"

Your cheeks flushed red as your lips slipped out a gasp, "I-I mean, well, uh-"

Kaldur just laughed silently at you while reaching out caress your cheek gently, "I think we deserve that, do we not?"

You just nodded shyly while the blood rushed to your cheeks once again at his gentle touch, causing a smile to rest at his lips.

"How about a trip to Atlantis?"

As you stared into his sparkling eyes filled with pure excitement, another arrow of Cupid pierced your heart once again.

"I would love that."

"I've missed this place so much."

Kaldur chuckled when he was your awestruck filled expression as you both swam through the crystal clear ocean waters, hovering just above the multicolored corals.

You giggled as a few seahorses swept beside you, nuzzling your cheeks gently, as if welcoming you back. They did so to Kaldur as well, as if greeting you both.

"It has been a while.", Kaldur commented, petting the seahorses as they nuzzled his cheeks.

You laughed happily at the sight of him being surrounded by all sorts of sea creatures alike.

Soon enough, a crowd of sea creatures had surrounded you both, but not in a frightening way. They were all calm and peaceful animals who wouldn't harm you whatsoever.

You were enjoying yourself a lot, greeting all the creatures once again like old friends who hadn't seen each other for years

--Kaldur's POV (for once XD)--

I smiled as I saw (Y/N)'s blissful smile while having a swarm of sea creatures surrounding her. She just looked so... beautiful in the waters, having the sunlight glowing on her skin majestically.

She was basically an underwater angel.

A smile subconsciously tugged at my lips as I stared at her. She turned towards me, her face beaming with delight.
