THE NEXT DAY: Saturday
I woke up in my bed. It was the weekend so I slept in until 11 am. I sat up in bed and looked around. Something didn't feel right. I tried remembering what happened yesterday. I got reminded of the time I spent struggling to sleep last night but I couldn't remember anything after that. There was a vision of me washing my face but why would I do that in the middle of the night? I couldn't remember anything. 'I must've just...fallen asleep I guess...'. I shook my head before getting up and walking to my bathroom.
When I got into the bathroom to wash up I saw that the mirror was broken. 'what the heck?!' I went wide-eyed and looked at it closely. "how's the mirror broken??" I whispered to myself. 'this isn't even my own house...shit, I'll have to pay for this, won't I?' I continued thinking to myself. 'but I didn't even break it...how's it broken?!?' I started getting stressed and held the sides of my head. I let out a frustrated sigh.
The way the mirror was broken didn't look like it was an accident. It looked like someone deliberately tried to smash the middle of it into pieces. I decided to just get ready for the day by freshening up and telling Jisung about it later.
I put some comfortable clothes on and decided to see if Jisung was awake yet. I had put on a black hoodie and some loose, dark grey, silk trousers. I grabbed the doorknob of my room's door and opened it. Right, when I was about to walk out I was met with a messy-haired Jisung who I almost bumped into. I looked up at him and he looked at me with slightly wide opened eyes since I must've surprised him.
"Were you coming to wake me up?" I asked him in a deep morning. "Uh, yea...how are you feeling?" Jisung suddenly asked. He sounded very concerned about my health for some weird reason. "Um, I'm good...? Why are you suddenly asking?" I asked whilst letting out a slight chuckle. "O-oh it's nothing..." He said as he looked away shyly. I smiled. "You know, you look really cute with messy hair," I said as I ruffled his hair before walking out of my room, past him. I went downstairs leaving him standing in front of my room.
I smiled to myself whilst going down the stairs but that suddenly turned into a straight face. Over time you could say that I and Jisung had gotten really close but I was getting a weird vibe from him this morning. It was a comfortable vibe but just...weird. I shrugged it off and started making breakfast as I had reached the kitchen.
Jisung's POV
Y/N ran off before I could say anything. I got a bit flustered at her comment and looked down with a smile which, sadly, went away as I remembered something. 'so does she not remember what happened last night?'. I turned around and started walking downstairs so where she was. I saw her in the kitchen and walked in. It looked like she had just started making breakfast. "So what do you eat on weekends?" She asked as I stood next to her whilst she was looking for food to eat.
Although I eat human food, whenever I do, I don't taste anything...it's tasteless and bland. I drink blood which is the only thing that has a taste. How do I survive without any taste? Well, I drop a bit of my blood into the food that gives it some taste. On weekends since I have more time for my breakfast I go out to a forest and hunt for animals there. I seem like a normal kid but I'm not. Because of this, I was unsure to answer Y/N. 'I can't tell...but it'll be fine, right? I mean...she's also...no nevermind' I stopped thinking and shook my head.
"No, continue, Jisung," I looked up and saw her looking with a smile. I got really confused. "Continue...?" I said. "Yea, what were you just saying? about telling me something?" She said and I understood what was happening. My eyes went wide. "wait" I said before putting my hands on her eyes, covering them. "what the- Jisung??" She said but I ignored her. 'she just heard my thoughts...so what happened last night...wasn't all a dream'.
