Y/N's POV
The next day, Wednesday, I was sitting in class taking down notes in silence, as usual. Ever since the day before I couldn't stop thinking about how Jisung confessed to me. The scene kept repeating in my head. The words 'I love you' on loop in my head.
I tried to forget about it but it wouldn't stop running in my mind.
The bell rang and I quickly put my stuff away before leaving the classroom. I had told Jisung that I would hang out with him today and that's exactly where I was heading, the back of the school.
I passed the place where I would usually sit with Yangyang but he wasn't there surprisingly. I just thought that he must still be in class and kept walking to where Jisung and I were going to meet.
Once I had arrived, I didn't see anyone there. I sat down against the wall and waited for him to come, thinking he must be on his way.
I got out my phone but before I could do anything I heard a voice call my name. It wasn't Jisung's voice, though. It was too soft and high to be his voice.
I turned my head and saw one of my classmates, the same one who asked me if I was okay. 'What are you doing back here alone?' she asked.
I didn't know what to say. I never spoke to anyone apart from Jisung and them lot ever since that picture spread around and everyone thought I was a slut.
'I'm waiting for someone,' I said coldly before turning my head away and looking down at my phone. 'Oh,' I heard her say.
'Um,' she started. 'do you mind telling me who?'
'Yes, I mind' I said without looking at her.
'Oh, okay. I wanted to ask you a question which is why I'm here,'
I looked at her. 'Ask.' I commanded and she hesitated. 'Well, I was wondering if we could be friends,'
I looked at her weirdly. 'Don't you think I'm a slut too?' I asked.
'No! I don't believe in the stupid rumours that go around the school. You said yourself that you wouldn't do something that disgusting with Jisung since you both too young anyway and I believe you, unlike the rest of the school,' she stated, surprising me but I still wasn't convinced.
Was she really being sincere? If you couldn't tell already, I had gotten trust issues.
'What if that was a lie? What if I was dating Jisung? And...did that?' I provoked her. None of it was true.
'Then...it's your business. I wouldn't interfere with that,'
I raised my eyebrow. 'So, you really believe me?' I asked. She nodded. 'Then, why are you suddenly asking to be my friend? When you could've done so before?'
She froze for a split second before replying, 'Well, I just thought that I should give you time to get over it all first,'
I nodded. 'Well, I don't know. I don't make friends that easily,' I said and turned my head away from her once again.
She just stood there unsure of what to do. 'Don't you have your own friends?' I asked.
'I did but they kept talking bad about you. I didn't want to be around those type of people,' she said. I sighed. 'People are that petty, huh?' I said. She nodded.
I thought about it all and realised that Jisung still hadn't come yet. Where was he? 'I'm waiting for Jisung,' I said. 'Do you know where he is?' I asked.
'Uh,' she started looking around past the building and jumped a bit. 'Oh, I...think that's him!' she said before smiling at me.
'Come sit before he sees you,' I said whilst patting the space next to me. She came and sat. 'Can't he see me?'
'It's going to surprise him,' I said and looked at her. 'That I have a friend,'
Her smile became wider. 'We're friends?!'
I nodded casually before looking back around to the corner of the building waiting for Jisung to come so I could see his reaction.
I heard footsteps. Soon, I saw him turn the corner and stop me before his eyes went wide. 'Y/N?' he asked me. 'Who's this?'
'My friend,' I emphasised on the word friend. I was against having friends - well anymore - but I just wanted to take the mick.
'You have friends?' he asked me and sat down. I slapped his arm. 'Shut up,'
'You 2 seem pretty close,' said the girls next to me.
'We are. What's your name?' Jisung asked. I totally forgot about that.
'Cheo Yeonji' she said.
'Wow. Y/N since when do you make friends, huh?' asked Jisung. I glared at him. 'You do know it doesn't really matter, right?'
'What do you mean?' asked Yeonji. I looked at her. 'Listen, we might be friends now but later in our lives, we'll forget about each other,' I blurted out. Although it was kind of rude to tell someone that I'll forget about them, it was true and the truth must be faced.
'A-ah...'
'Sorry about Y/N, Yeonji, she thinks everyone else is emotionless like her,' Jisung apologised on my behalf.
'Doesn't that mean that you and Jisung will forget about each other?' she asked me. Jisung and I looked at each other then back at her.
'Not really because...we're,' I tried looking for a word to describe the relationship. We weren't mates but then again...were we? If we were, of course, we wouldn't forget about each other, but if we weren't, then I guess we would still be in touch?
'We're related,' I said and her eyes went wide. 'You're related...by blood?'
'No!' Jisung popped up out of nowhere. 'Our families are friends,' he saved me. She must've thought back to that picture and how gross it would've been if Jisung and I were related.
The rest of the day passed by as usual.
No One's POV
The weekend was close and someone had plans. Well, they were planning something, it wasn't 100% confirmed.
'What are you going to do it, hyung?' Samuel asked Yangyang. They sat in the vampire cafe, as usual, talking about their own special business.
'Do what?' asked Yangyang cluelessly. 'You know what I'm talking about,' Samuel claimed confidently. Yangyang sighed.
'I don't know,' he looked down and placed his cup of coffee on the table. 'You're going to run out of time, hyung!'
'I know...but I still need to plan everything out,' the elder replied. 'How much time do I have?' he looked up at the younger who opened his phone and checked something. Looking up slowly, he said, 'a month,'
'A month? That's all?'
Samuel nodded. 'I'll have to plan faster than I thought...' said Yangyang.
'First, I'll need to get the Peresfoni-' Samuel gasped and cut Yangyang off.
'That's how you intend to kill her?' he asked quietly. Yangyang nodded.
Peresfoni, the horrifying poison which can kill a vampire within minutes. It is very hard to find but people find their ways. It is not a poison to humans though, only vampires.
'And then I have to find a way to do it,' he said nonchalantly. 'Don't you feel scared? Or guilty? That you're going to kill another vampire?' Samuel asked cautiously.
Yangyang sighed and leaned in forward. He was really being his dark self. Out in the day time, he always put on a fake smile, pretending to love Y/N.
'Listen, the truth is, Samuel, I've killed a vampire before and now I'm ready to do it again.' he said. A shiver went down Samuel's spine, even though he was a vampire himself, he couldn't understand how you can kill your own species.
ooooh suspenseeeeeee
No? okay.
