18. J or Y?

'I hate this...'

The corners of her mouth tilted up and showed her pearly white teeth. Her smile was beautiful but it was painful.

It was painful to see how that smile wasn't for me, it was for someone else.

Her body leaned to the right, towards the person next to her.

What could he have said which was so funny to make her laugh this much? Why couldn't I do that?

Why wasn't I the one with her?

Y/N and Yangyang. The news had spread of them dating and I hated it.

The confusion in my heart was just annoying me now. The way I went all soft every time she smiled or even talked to me.

If I truly love her, how does she love someone else? Did Yangyang and I get the same mate? That's never happened before in vampire history.

I sighed and moved my gaze from her to the clock on the wall. There were 7 minutes until class started.

I got up making everyone look at me confused. 'I'm going to class early,' I said blankly, without looking at them, and left.

I sent one more glance at Y/N who was sitting on the other side of the playground before walking away, feeling heavy as usual.

But why was I feeling especially oppressed today? Y/N did nothing. I was torturing myself. I was becoming upset at something that didn't matter.

Even though I somehow loved Y/N who has a mate, if Yangyang is her true mate, I will find my true mate one day too.

Little did I know, that Y/N was hurting too. Which is why I was.

As I left the Dream boys were left to talk among themselves again.

No One's POV

'Hasn't Jisung been acting really sad lately?' said Jaemin leaning in closer to the others to make sure Jisung or anyone else couldn't hear even though Jisung had walked away long ago.

The others nodded, agreeing with Jaemin.

'It started ever since the news about Y/N and Yangyang went big,' said Renjun. They sat in thought and looked around at each other.

Thinking the exact same thing.

'Do you think,' started off Renjun.

'Jisung likes Y/N?' Jaemin said, sounding surprised. They looked around at each other once again but this time in shock, realising that it was obviously true.

'Even I and Haechan are over Y/N but when Jisung start liking her?' said Jeno surprised even though he knew he wasn't going to get an answer. It's not like anyone else knew.

They all sat there, not knowing what to do when suddenly, a loud ringing rang through their ears. The 5-minute-bell had rung and there were 5 minutes left till lesson.

They all quickly grabbed their bags and walked off together in the direction of their next class.

Y/N's POV

'Maybe I should talk to him about it?'

I thought to myself while staring into space. My face resting on my palm as I was sitting on the stairs outside my next class. I heard someone call my name and wave their hand in front of me.

I broke out of my trance and looked up confused, only to see one of my classmates.

'Are you okay?' she said.

'Uh, yea,' I said while trying to sound confused so that she walks away and I wouldn't have to talk to anyone.

'we're going in,' she said simple and pointed at our class which was walking into the class. Jisung was in it and I made eye contact with him for a split second but ignored it.

'oh, thanks,' I stood up and grabbed my bag, quickly walking in after her.

What was Y/N talking about? Who does she need to talk to and what about?

Is it Jisung or Yangyang?

heyo, lmao I hate myself. Um. I have writers block so this is very short but HEY I almost wrote a poem in the beginning of this. (sorry I'm studying Shakespeare for like the 100th time in english right now so)
