Reylen was sitting in bed reading an E-book on dark magic. After everything that has happened she thought it would be a good idea to do research. She never thought this kind of subject would be one she would have to read up on.
Her mind held information that Sera did not know. Should she tell her? Would this information even matter now? Most likely not, but the secret was on the tip of her tongue and wanted to be told. She wondered if her parents even knew. Did Sera even know herself?
Putting the laptop down on the bed she then walked to the guest room. She knocked twice before opening the door. "Can I talk to you?"
Sera put down the InStyle magazine she was reading. "Yes." She smiled as Jen sat on the bed.
"There is something I've kept from you. I've read your autopsy report twice and you suffered massive head trauma and a broken neck among other things."
Sera grimaced at the information. "Oh, that's . . ."
"I'm sorry." Jen said, "Now that's gonna stay in your mind. Again, I'm sorry. That's not what I was going to say at first."
"Then what is it?" Sera curiously asked.

"Sera can you think back as far as you can remember and see if there was a secret you were keeping?" Jen said and waited for a response.
Sera searched her memory for anything worthy of saying. "Nothing comes to mind, why?"
"So you didn't know that when you passed that you were pregnant?" Jen watched the expression on Sera's face. This was news to her too.
"How far along was I?" Sera said through her emotions and now tears.
"About seven weeks." Jen said and hugged her.
Sera let lout an odd laugh. "I guess the baby went to heaven and I went to wherever the hell I was. I don't even know what to call it. The fog of doom where no one was except me. Trapped in a nightmare where I relived that tragic day every day over and over."
Sera asked, "Does Aiden know?"
"No, I didn't say anything to him." Jen said and stood up. "I'm unsure if your parents even know. I'm sorry for all of this. You can hate me if you want to."
Sera wiped her tears away. "Thank you for telling me. I don't hate you just the whole situation."

"Try to get some rest. We'll talk in the morning." Jen said and left the room. The door shut and Sera screamed into the pillow.
She screamed for the life she'd lost. The life her baby had lost and the ones she'd left broken. Her body felt painful as she cried harder and harder. She'd never experienced such deep emotion like this before.
She thought back to earlier. They way Aiden and William snapped at each other outside of the station. It had almost come to a physical altercation. Jen had stopped it just in time. Aiden again had said he loved her as Jen asked him to leave. Will had been told to leave also.

Morning came too fast. As Sera got dressed the smell of welcoming coffee filled the air. Soon she went to the kitchen. She was very surprised to see Angelle talking to Jen.
"Hey." Angelle said and went to hug her.
Jen knew how Sera liked her coffee now and handed her a mug. "Let's have some breakfast."
Sera glanced at the time 9:45 a.m.
Angelle's cellphone rang and she answered, "Hello?"

"Please destroy the stone." The woman's voice said. Angelle put her phone up to Sera's ear. "Did you hear me? Destroy the stone it's cursed."
Sera took the phone. "Grandmother?"
Cora almost dropped her own phone. "Dear? I thought I was calling someone else."
"Angelle put her phone up to my ear." Sera said to her.
"I'm sorry, you don't belong here anymore. You have to go back. Destroy the Grimmstone, Sera. It's the only way to save the ones you love." Cora said and hung up.
Sera gave the phone back and sat there stunned. "It's cursed." She said mostly to herself.
Jen and Angelle looked at each other. "I knew it." Angelle said felt a horrible feeling go through her.
"The Grimmstone is cursed." Sera told them. "I have to die all over again. She said I have to go back that I don't belong her anymore."
"Was that really your grandmother or an imposter?" Jen asked in a very concerned tone.
Sera breathed out, "Yes, that was Cora, my grandmother from Greece."

Angelle called Aiden to tell him this new information. Aiden soon showed up at Jen Reylen's front door knocking many times before it opened.
"Come inside." Sera said, holding the door open for him.
"You're absolutely positive that was your grandmother on the phone?" Aiden asked Sera directly as the door closed.
Sera nodded firmly. "Trust me, I'd know her voice anywhere." Together they went into the kitchen.
"What do we do now?" Angelle asked the crowd.
Jen said to her, "I need you to stay in the background. Pretend you don't know a thing. It's better this way."
Aiden jumped in to say, "Please, Angelle, listen to the her. I wanna help figure this out too." He paused and thought. He spoke again with a plan. "Let me go over to Sera's parents house and see if they will give me any information. I can play it cool with them."
Jen didn't want to go along with this, but gave in. "Tomorrow casually show up. Leave your phone on before you get inside so I can hear too." Sera and Angelle looked at each other. Jen said to them, "I need you two to not get involved, please. Aiden and I will fill you in on everything."
