Extra chapter 1: special halloween.

" a ghost?" Yu Yan was confused right now. Really confused.
"Yes!!" Minah nodded furiously, a miracle her head didn't fly away.
"I swear master!! It was definitely a ghost that I saw last night!"
Yu Yan's expression went from confusion to realisation, "Minah, you worked really hard this days, you should probably rest a bit. Here, have some tea, it will make your tiredness disappear in a sip!"
What? Tea is the solution to many problems:
Are you cold? Drink a good tea.
tired? Drink a good tea.
A headache? Drink a good tea.
Someone pissed you off? Hit him with the cup.
Told ya, it's very helpful.
"Wait, master, you don't believe me?!"
Yu Yan looked at the silly girl in front of him that was on the verge of crying, he sighed, this is going to be tiring.
He remembered there was a shovel under his bed. Don't ask him what it was doing there, safety first.
And it's very useful by the way, I mean we lose our time in unusual discussions , compromises... WHILE SO MUCH OFTEN A GOOD SHOT OF SHOVEL WILL ABSOLUTELY ARRANGE EVERYTHING!
Normally, he would have tried to knock some common sense into Minah by now, but, he was a bit... curious.
I mean, when you were actually reborn, you tend to be a bit more understanding of unnatural things. Only a little bit, though.
"Fine, start by telling where you did see it" trying won't hurt anyway. Hopefully.
Minah's face instantly brightened,"east side of the courtyard, in the hallway, near my room"
" ...okay?" She probably is tired after all.
It was Minah's turn to sigh this time, " I'm sorry, master, it's just that I'm really scared"
Yu Yan sighed, why is he sighing so much today?
This girl, I swear " It's okay, let's just get over with this quickly, tell me, what was it like?"
Minah: "..."

Yu Yan: "..."

Minah: "...I forgot"

.....should he use the shovel after all?

"Minah, for the love of god, stop gripping my robe and get going already!"

Getting out in the middle of the night to search for an imaginary ghost that his idiotic servant thought had seen.
...I'm firing her by tomorrow.

"No! Master, I'm perfectly sure it's going appear by any minute!"
Did he just hear something? Oh no,it's only the sound of his patience cracking.
"Listen here Min-" before he could finish speaking, he saw a black shadow coming towards him at a really fast pace.
It hit him.
He fell.
"Master! Are you okay?! Did you fall?!"
"no, I'm hugging the ground, it looked sad! Dumb head"
Anyway, let's take a look at what crashed into me.
He lifted it, and it turned out to be a cat, a cat with wings.
I see, a magical beast.
He turned to Minah, "here's our ghost"
Minah was a little dumbfounded by what just happened, but she nodded nonetheless, "so it was only a magical beast. thank god."
The little cat... or whatever you want to call it, seemed to take quite a liking to Yu Yan.
it was black, white wings, and with different coloured eyes, one blue, while the other one was red.
It was beautiful.
"What are going to do with it, master?"
Yu Yan looked at Minah for a moment, then opened, " I think Zhi Ruo would very much appreciate some company, don't you think so?"
She smiled, "without a doubt!"
"Then, let's go back, it's getting late. And before I forgot, next time you come to me to talk about some kind of ghost, remind me to throw you out"
"Master, you're so mean!"
"I'm just kidding, just kidding" teasing her is fun.

And so, I thought why not make something different.
Normally, my story is like, you know, sad and all that stuff, but for Halloween , I thought why not make something lighthearted and fun.
