Yoongi spent the next hour folding and putting away all his new clothes. He was still in shock after all that happened. After arriving at the house, yoongi apologised like a record on repeat. The couple reassured him that it was okay.
Yoongi began placing his new shoes along the little shoe rack.
He'd put out all four pairs, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion as he noticed the fifth box sitting on his bed.Yoongi walked over and hesitantly opened it. His jaw dropped and his eyes widened.
A gorgeous pair of sunny yellow converse sat comfortably within the cardboard box.
"When did- oh god" yoongi couldn't erase his smile. His mind flashed to his own shoes, the ones that he was currently wearing. Despite their now black exterior, yoongi remembers them being yellow before, hence why they were his favourite pair.
Yoongi still wore his smile as he placed the precious shoes on the rack, they contrasted greatly to the monochromatic shoes beside them.
Yoongi stared at his room with a smile, this is a new place. And although it's temporary, I think I'm going to like it.
Yoongi sat on the edge of his bed, taking a moment to breathe when his phone suddenly rang.
This was unusual, no one ever called yoongi asides from work.
Which he no longer had.
Apart from his convenience store job.Yoongi slowly picked up his phone, releasing a sigh of relief when he heard a familiar voice.
"Yoongi-si ?"
"Hi Jin-Hyung, hows it going?"Yoongi and Jin have a funny relationship. The met at a soup kitchen back when yoongi was homeless, Jin then helped the boy get a job at his friends restaurant. Every once in a while the elder would call up and check on the boy. Yoongi had a feeling he knew why the elder was so kind to him. Yoongi was almost like a substitute for Jins brother, who he had a rocky relationship with.
"All's good. My brother got into college"
"That's great Jin!"Yoongi didn't know much about Jins brother, only that he was younger and seemed to have a love-hate relationship with the boy.
"Thanks. Listen, I'm calling cause I heard you got fired?"
Yoongis heart dropped.
"Uh.. Yeah. I did."
"What happened yoongs?" Jin asked, his voice laced with concern.
Yoongi didn't know how to respond.
How could he fit all his drama into one simple phone call."Uh, it's a- it's a long story Jin-Hyung" Yoongi answered with a sad tone.
"Oh, well how about we meet and catch up? It's been forever since I bought you a hot chocolate, and it's the season for it!" Jin chuckled at the end, trying to lighten the mood a bit.
"Yeah sure! That'd be great!" Yoongi answered honestly. He missed his hyung, he was his only friend asides from Joonie.
"Okay then, I'll send you a text of when I'm available."
"Great hyung"
"And yoongi?"
"Yes hyung?"
"Are you going to be okay?"Yoongo paused for a moment. He briefly thought about all that had happened lately, will I be okay?
Yoongi wore a small smile before he answered, "yes hyung, I'll be fine"The pair ended their call, yoongi then placed the phone back on charge as his battery was basically broken and the damn thing was on charge 24/7.
"Yoongi?" Jimin knocked on the door frame, half standing in the boys room.
