Chapter 23

"Knock knock knock! Anyone call an order of fabulous!" Tae greeted brightly as he entered through the front door. Jimin and Jungkook greeted the younger male, wishing him luck and praising his outfit.

Taehyung was dressed fashionably in a white shirt with brown and orange floral designs, a pair of dark brown slacks and lastly a pair of black dress shoes. His wrist was adorned by a new fancy Rolex, a gift he's just received from his date. To finish the whole outfit, Tae wore his large rimless glasses that sat perfectly atop the bridge of his nose. The whole outfit was perfect and Tae looked like a runway model.

"Yoongi! Tae's here!" Jimin called up the stairs to the younger.

A moment later a smartly dressed yoongi slowly walked down the stairs. Taes jaw dropped at the sight. Yoongi madly blushed at the looks he was getting and refused to meet anyone's eyes.

"Hey..." he greeted a little shyly. It's funny, if you'd told yoongi two years ago he'd be acting like this, he's probably of laughed straight in your face.

Tae dropped into a squat, both hands pressed together in a prayer stance, "damn. I mean. Damn. Who that? That my best friend! Yes hunny!" He clapped dramatically. Yoongi giggled, Tae only came out of the closet a few days ago and was now the literal stereotypical gay. And he loved it.

"Oh my god stop you dramatic ass" yoongi cursed the elder, grabbing his shoulder and making him stand again. Tae only laughed at yoongis response.

"Oh my goodness you two are just so cute!" Jimin beamed like a proud mom in prom night.

"Thanks" yoongi replied sheepishly, a light blush still floating in his cheeks.

"Well, we better go yoongi. I mean.. my date is waiting outside" it was cute how Tae blushed at the mention of his date. He was nervous, of course. This wasn't the typical date night most had with their crush. Tae wanted yoongi to meet him though, to get a second opinion and all that. Yoongi appreciates that Tae valued his opinion, being honest, he was overjoyed the elder thought so highly of him. He was truly proud of his friend.

"Of course, we won't hold you back. Have fun boys" Jungkook stood tall and had his arm wrapped around Jimins waist. Oh god they really do feel like parents before prom.

"Oh wait, my phones charging in the kitchen" yoongi stopped before leaving the house, as normal his phone was constantly being charged as its battery was in fact still broken.

"I'll be in the car okay?" Tae then left and got into the fancy silver car that had tinted windows, unfortunately yoongi couldn't catch a glimpse of the mystery date just yet.

The younger went to the kitchen and grabbed his phone, happy that it was fully charged yet annoyed knowing it would only last an hour or so. Before he entered the hall again, he met the married couple again.

"You all set?" Jimin asked with a smile, he was excited for the younger.

"Yep, think so" yoongi shrugged but tried his best to give a small smile. He was a bit awkward still, especially after Jimins words.

We called dibs.

"Have fun. Stay safe, if you wanna come home early just call us" Jungkook reassured. The older man then lifted his hand to ruffle yoongis hair, and what the boy did next shocked them both. He leaned in and hugged Jungkook. The married couple stood open mouthed and wide eyed. Jungkook slowly reacted by hugging back, enjoying how the younger boy fit in his arms. After the pair separated yoongi hugged Jimin. Being a bit more prepared, Jimin hugged back with as much vigour, he too enjoyed how small yoongi was to hold.
