Monday. Taes exhibit is today. Yoongi woke up bright and early and headed to work happily. He felt ..lighter? Easier.
He greeted his boss with a bow and smile. Hoseok ruffled the boys hair and cooed at his switch in behaviour.

"Ah yoongi-ah! Who knew you could be so cute! if only you smiled more" the walking sun joked as he gathered his brief case.

Hoseok left shortly after, leaving the small boy to work freely. A few customers popped in, but other than that it was a quiet day. Yoongi was grateful for that, he wanted today to go well. He was excited and nervous for his hyung, and he wanted to support him enthusiastically.

After work ended, seemingly faster than normal, yoongi swung by for a short visit to Namjoon.

"Hello Joonie, I'm back again" yoongi greeted as usual after saying his short prayer.
"Taehyung has his exhibit today. He said he's not nervous, but I know he is. At least a little. I'm sure it'll go great, he's very talented. Any help from you would also be greatly appreciated" he joked lightly as he touched the cold marble.
"I talked to Jimin and Jungkook. I-I agreed to a date. I'm going to make it known that I want things to go slow. See what happens right? 'God always loved a trier' you'd always say" yoongi smiled at the memory of his goofy lover.
"I'll try Joonie. I'll try to be happier. Dr Byun is still trying to crack my head, I don't know how much longer I can hold up. Maybe she'll succeed sooner than she thinks."

Yoongi left after placing a small kiss on Namjoons grave. The cold marble reminding him that this was still reality. Namjoon was still gone. It was pathetic at times, yoongi still hoped that he'd wake up and Namjoon would be alive. As always, however, the cold marble kept him stuck in reality.

His walk home was just as boring as always. It was getting colder now, the late October wind settling. Halloween's soon, yoongi thought to himself as he kicked a pebble in the path. He never really celebrated any holidays. Only whenever he was with Namjoon did he ever find joy in those festivities and holidays.

Halloween was a sore memory for the young boy. A night of mischief and candy. Not for yoongi, no, for yoongi it was a busy night, one of danger and fear.

Yoongi turned the corner, not thinking twice about walking in the alley as he had done it many times before. A hand reached out, harshly grabbing at yoongis sweater, a new one from the older couple he lived with of course.
Instinct filled the boy as he harshly bright his hand atop the one that grabbed him, within a second he had the hand yanked backwards, causing the attacker to drop to his knees and yell in pain.

"You ass! LET GO KITTEN!"

Yoongi droped the hand and took a few stumbles steps backwards. That name... that name that held so many painful memories. He hadn't heard it in forever, it also took felt foreign to hear. But he did hear, and understand, quite clearly that horrible nickname.

"Who the fuck-" yoongi was cut off as his eyes finally focused on the attacker.

A man, taller than yoongi but not by a lot, his face was fuzzy as he hid in the shadows of the alley.
"What a greeting after its been what? 3 years?" His voice however, as he spoke again, it finally dawned on the younger who this man was.

"Lee...." the younger breathed, barely above a whisper, his body rigid in fear.

"Ah kitten! You remember me!" The man walked to the younger and gave a tight hug, one the younger found suffocating.

"Y-you were in prison..." yoongi spoke in simple short sentences, not trusting himself to speak much more. This man he once knew was dangerous.

"I got out. Good behaviour!" Lee bowed dramatically. Yoongi found it hard to think of the elder as "good" but for now chose to ignore his better judgment.
