Emptiness,
An emptiness I've never felt before,
I still have the shirt you wore,
But your scent is long gone,
And I can smell you no more.Loneliness,
Loneliness is this empty feeling,
Your heart no longer beats, you're no longer breathing,
Silence from dawn till dusk,
You're six feet under, beneath the earth's mask.Pain,
The pain of tearing out my heart,
On the day you went under the dirt,
When the hand to wipe my tears turned cold,
I'm now alone, I'm told.Fear,
The fear of facing the world without you,
Fear of death that took you from the blue,
Fear of removing the ring from when we wed,
Fear of the life that I should mend.Hope,
Hope of meeting you in heaven,
Of making the most of the time I've been given,
I'll keep the memories of us inside,
And that's where my peace, love and future will reside.☆
