Waking up my eyes so sore,
I hear you knock hard on the door,
One! Two! Three! Four!
I know the reason I take all this for,
You are the only one I adore,
And each day I love you more. Why do you come home so late?
Leaving so wide open the gate?
Five! Six! Seven! Eight!
There goes my favourite plate,
You threw it down right after you ate,
This is what I hate,
Cannot even remember when we went on a date,
Where will our love go at this rate?
I don't know, let's leave it all to fate.Nine! Ten!
I take a pen,
Writing a letter in the den,
"I'm leaving, sorry Ben..."
You cannot use me, I'm not a hen,
Thinking you're a cock, typical of men,
Can't take this anymore, I know it's sudden,
But when will all this end? When?
All because I give you no children.☆
I wrote this when I was 13 and it's been well over a decade now.
