It's like around my neck is a rope
And I no longer have any hope
When I wish to speak I get choked
And so my lips remain locked
Killing me!
It's like I'm drowning in the ocean
I cannot talk because of that notion
I cannot be heard as I go under
In a crowd of people louder than thunder
Killing me!
It's like dangling above an erupting volcano
To be swept away by lava of inferno
That I not only risk getting no love
But also risk the friendship that we have
Killing me!
It's like being buried alive under the dirt
Just like a dart through the heart
The way I'm filled with immense uncertainty
When your eyes stare into mine in reality
Killing me!
It's like hurtling a thousand feet to the ground
Falling into a love I have not found
Hurtling so uncontrollably it terrifies me
Falling into depths that I cannot see
