"Black rose, dark kiss,
Take all these and be my miss,
I will make your life full of bliss."
His words echo in my ear with a low hiss.

My tears were running down watching the sunset,
I gazed into the dark woods and our eyes met,
He had piercing eyes, as dark red as blood,
Between us a stream, the bunks full of mud,
I turned to leave but there he was, holding me,
"You are a beauty I thought I'd never see."

"Black rose, dark kiss,
Take all these and be my miss,
I will make your life full of bliss."
His words echo in my ear with a low hiss.

I moved back overwhelmed by fright,
His skin glowed in the moon, pure white,
He moved his hand through my hair,
The trees whispered silently through the air,
He then spoke after not saying a word,
I was perturbed by what I heard...

"Black rose, dark kiss,
Take all these and be my miss,
I will make your life full of bliss."
His words echo in my ear with a low hiss.

He moved towards me until he was really close,
And then he put in my hand a black rose,
"A kiss from you would be harmless."
I closed my eyes and saw pure darkness,
My heart within my chest broke,
Blood in my throat slowly made me choke.

"Black rose, dark kiss,
Take all these and be my miss,
I will make your life full of bliss."
His words echo in my ear with a low hiss.

The rose in my hand fell and I broke away,
My eyes opened to the light of day,
Wind blew away the rose that turned to dust,
He watched me from the dark woods smiling with lust,
With an evil look in his eye, he disappeared with a bow,
I don't know how, but I am safe, for now.

"Black rose, dark kiss,
Take all these and be my miss,
I will make your life full of bliss."
His words echo in my ear with a low hiss.
