brielle watched as her twitter feed went into a frenzy about the fact that her and noah were dating. she had a strong feeling that his phone was probably doing the same thing but the boy was asleep next to her, because he'd just come from a long day of doing interviews, so he had yet to find out that she outed them.

the two of them hadn't really talked about the right time to come out with their relationship but it had been about a month, and pretty much everyone was speculating about it, so she decided to just do it.

brielle exited out of the twitter app and set her phone down on her nightstand next to her bed and reached for her laptop so that she could work on editing her next video. she plugged in her headphones so that she wouldn't disturb the sleeping boy next to her as she worked.

about fifteen minutes later, the sound of her doorbell ringing broke brielle out of her intense editing state. the girl shimmied out of the comfortable position she had found herself in on her bed and walked toward her front door. when she opened the door the sight she was met with caused her eyes to widen a bit, but she quickly recovered and slapped a smile on her face as she greeted the person at the door.

"hey, mom."

any other time, her mom could've showed up at her apartment and brielle would be happy because she really did love spending time and talking with her mom, but in that moment she wasn't elated at all.

instead she felt very awkward about the fact that noah was asleep in her bedroom, and she was also suddenly very aware of the fact that she was only wearing noah's t-shirt that he had shown up in when he came to her apartment a few hours earlier.
