"Do you know what ice is?" she asked, voice flat as she bent over an open cabinet, opening and messing with something else inside of it. He shook his head and realized that she obviously couldn't see his reaction to her question. Shiro temporarily felt a cold chill run over his legs, before she quickly turned around and shut the door, standing up straight again holding what looked to be a bag full of frozen water.
"We have ice back at Earth too," he watched as she tossed the bag she was holding from one hand to the other as she walked back over to him and finally tossed it at him, and Shiro fumbled with the bag before grasping it in his fingers, gratefully putting it on his knee, sighing a little when the cooling heat made contact with his skin. He could feel his heartbeat throbbing in his knee, but that was already starting to fade the longer he held it there.
The avian put her back to him once she had made certain that he was holding it right and pulled out a box from the counter she was standing by in front of her, proceeding to mess with whatever was in there that he couldn't quite see, but he could hear the objects clinking against each other as she rooted through it looking for something.
While the avian was currently busy, Shiro took the time to take a look around the room he was now sitting in. It was small, especially comparing the room to the countless others he had seen through the past hours that was probably less than twenty-four hours ago.
It wasn't exactly very clean either, which seemed unsurprising considering the fact that it really looked like they were standing/sitting in the middle of a storage closet.
It was obvious the room had multiple purposes, seeing the medical kits hanging on the wall and broken weapons piled in the far corner gave him that idea at least, the place doubling both as a storage closet and a makeshift medical area for just in case someone got hurt during training.
Shiro couldn't exactly fathom why a castle, no, that's not even close, a mansion that doubles as multiple castles, has a freaking training room that obviously appears to be open to everyone and not just the guards. They were the only people that Shiro could guess would be the only people who would actually need it to do their jobs. He didn't know whether to be terrified or impressed that these people took personal defense very seriously in this world, part of him wished that the people on Earth would be this dedicated.
He shifted in his perch on the wooden chair he sat on, watching the princess's wings twitch a little as she continued to do something blocked from his view. She cursed in a language he couldn't understand a moment later, making Shiro raise an eyebrow in confusion for the word and her sudden frustration, "...this stupid," she cursed again, and Shiro bit his lip as the idea entered his head.
"Do you need some help?" He asked, his voice low, just in case she decides to whip around and scold him again, but she just turned around, revealing a stretch of bandage sloppily wrapped around her forearm, and a frustrated scowl on her face, uninjured hand clenched in a tight fist, the poor white bandage looking like it's been through everything in just the past seconds alone.
"I'm fine, now if you would please-" she whipped back around to better on focusing on the task at hand, instead the box on the counter toppled against her hands and fell to the floor with a loud clash of sounds, some bottles breaking and spilling their contents all over the floor, while others bounced and rolled away from her feet. Allura growled under her breath at the mess, trying to hold on to the bandage around her arm, while also reaching above her head for some towels stashed in a cabinet above her.
"Here, let me help," he spoke out before he could stop himself, surprised to volunteering to help in the first place after everything she did to him in the last day or two alone, but she didn't make any sounds of protest to his help, merely letting out a breath through her nose and continuing to work.
