In the alleyway I hear police sirens, police cars surround the area and The officers rush out of the squad car and rush into the alley to look for evidence, i see Judy approach the officers, she was the one that made the call, she realised how long i was gone and called them, she points to my body and my brother Jack and Nicolson walk over, Jack sees my body laying in a pool of my own blood and his screams of no echo throughout the city, it was sad to see his brother in such a state, it was so devastating.
Nicolson put some latex gloves on and pulled my shirt up and they both examined the open bloody scars and bloody X carved into my chest, more shouts of no coming from Jack as Nicolson suggests that maybe the weapon used to carve out the X symbol was a katana, a flashback comes to me i am beginning to remember parts of my death, i remember him grabbing me at my throat lifting me up in the air and pulling out what was indeed a sharp katana.
They follow a blood trail near my head and see a dent, my head was caved in due to the impact of the concrete, Nicolson looks down by my head and sees shattered glass and looks up at the window and squints his eyes to see red stuff on the windows splattered throughout going all the way down, he examined the bricks near the ground closer the bricks were smeared with blood too, Nicholson suggests to Jack that judging by the blood on the windows he killer threw me out, Jack turned to my body and saw bullet holes in my clothing, he explained to Nicholson these look like pistol bullet tears, Nicolson covered up my body with a blanket and suggested to Jack the suspect maybe out there somewhere and this time they should find out were he is hiding and send a squad and told Jack let no man be hurt.
Nicolson did the rest in peace sign and walked back to the car.
I Look down into the into the street and in a puddle of rain can I see my back up gun, i bend down to pick the back up gun up but my hand goes through it, i can't pick it up, i guess i will have to use the gun my ghost is equipped with incase any danger is afoot.
the glass from the upper window that shattered from when I fell, blood stains and spatters on the window from when i fell and some bullet cases. That's all the evidence down here on street level.
Another flashback comes to me as the evidence adds up i see myself being thrown out the window and blood splattering just like Nicolson and Jack investigated, my memory is returning bit by bit.
I hear my brother talking to Nicolson the boss of the police department about me with other officers gathered round, He says that I'm a ignorant and selfish and stupid for not sending back up there with me Maybe he's right maybe if backup came I wouldn't have died.
My brother walks up to my body and looks down at me and shakes his head in sadness, he brings a hand up to his face and wipes a tear that is rolling down his cheek, he says i have always been self centered even when we were children, when mom told me not to eat the cookies after snack time i would grab the jar and smash the glass and blame my brother, he tells me i always got away with things and mom thought i was the favourite child and that carried on with me in adulthood, i'd disobey Nicholson's rules and do it my way and not by the book, he bows his head and says it was a silly child and my actions could have got me fired from the force and that my selfish ness was my undoing.
But i forgive my brother for feeling like that about me, i should really behave and listen to people, do what i am told.
It finally comes to me I finally understand what the small boy from earlier told me. To get into heavan and resolve my self of my sins I must find out why the killer was at the apartment in the first place and what he was looking for there must be a deeper meaning behind this, there is a reason for everything and i must find out why.
